"The Prophet ﷺ was in Makkah, then Hijrah was ordered, so the following was revealed to him: Say: 'My Lord! Let my entry be good, and likewise my exit be good. And grant me from You a helping authority (17:80).'"

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِالْهِجْرَةِ فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ ( قُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا )

Whoever goes to battle in the path of Allah seeking only ˹spoils of war˺, then he will have ˹the reward for˺ what he intended.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَمْ يَنْوِ إِلاَّ عِقَالاً فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

Whoever goes to battle seeking only ˹spoils of war˺, then he will have ˹the reward for˺ what he intended.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا وَهُوَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ عِقَالاً فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever engages in battle in the path of Allah, intending nothing but shackles (slavery) as spoils of war, then he will have what he intended." Bahz mentioned in his Hadith: Jabalah ibn Atiyyah narrated from Yahya ibn Al-Walid ibn 'Ubada.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever goes out for the sake of Allah and intends in his expeditions nothing but ˹spoils˺, then he will have what he intended."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

[AI] The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Whoever goes for battle without intending anything other than capturing the spoils of war, then he will have what he intended."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَزَا وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ stayed in Makkah as a prophet for thirteen years, then the verse "Adkhilni madkhal as-sidqi wa akhrijni makhraja as-sidqi" [Al-Israa 80] was revealed to him with the opening of the Meem, so he migrated.

مَكَثَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سِنِينَ نَبِيًّا فَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ {أَدْخِلْنِي مَدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مَخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ} [الإسراء 80] بِفَتْحِ الْمِيمِ فَهَاجَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَزَا وَلَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»

Zaid bin Khalid al Juhani reported that Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “He who equips a fighter in Allaah’s path has taken part in the fighting. And he looks after a fighter’s family when he is away has taken part in the fighting.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2509)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ stayed in Mecca for ten years, then descended [to the verse]: "{Say: 'My Lord, admit me with an entrance of truth and exit me with an exit of truth.'}" Then, he migrated to Medina.
