Whoever goes to battle in the path of Allah seeking only ˹spoils of war˺, then he will have ˹the reward for˺ what he intended.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَمْ يَنْوِ إِلاَّ عِقَالاً فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

Whoever goes to battle seeking only ˹spoils of war˺, then he will have ˹the reward for˺ what he intended.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا وَهُوَ لاَ يُرِيدُ إِلاَّ عِقَالاً فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever goes out for the sake of Allah and intends in his expeditions nothing but ˹spoils˺, then he will have what he intended."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَلَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى
