[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Feed the hungry, help the needy, and visit the sick." Abdul Rahman said, "Visiting the sick."  

أحمد:١٩٥١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَطْعِمُوا الْجَائِعَ وَفُكُّوا الْعَانِيَ وَعُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَرْضَى

البخاري:٥٦٤٩ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَطْعِمُوا الْجَائِعَ وَعُودُوا الْمَرِيضَ وَفُكُّوا الْعَانِيَ  

ahmad:19641 – Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Sufyān > Manṣūr > Abū Wāʾil > Abū Mūsá

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Feed the hungry, visit the sick and free the captive. Sufyan said: al-'ani means captive. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3105)

ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ لِلْمَرْءِ بِإِطْعَامِ الْجِيَاعِ، وَفُكِّ الْأُسَارَى مِنْ أَيْدِي أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ الْكَفَرَةِ

ibnhibban:3324 – al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb > Muḥammad b. Kathīr al-ʿAbdī > Sufyān al-Thawrī > Manṣūr > Abū Wāʾil > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Feed the hungry, visit the sick, and free the ʿānī (captive). Sufyān said: ʿānī means captive.  

ابن حبّان:٣٣٢٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ
