The Prophet ﷺ said, "Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which Religious ignorance will spread, knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and there will be much Al-Harj, and Al- Harj means killing."

كُنْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالاَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ لأَيَّامًا يَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ وَالْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which (religious) knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and general ignorance will spread, and there will be Al-Harj in abundance, and Al-Harj means killing."

جَلَسَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَأَبُو مُوسَى فَتَحَدَّثَا فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامًا يُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ وَالْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ

I was sitting with 'Abdullah and Abu Musa that they reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said: Prior to the Last Hour, there would be a time when knowledge would be taken away, and ignorance would take its place and there would be bloodshed on a large scale.

“Just before the Hour, there will be days when knowledge will disappear, ignorance will become widespread and there will be much Harj. And Harj means killing.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامٌ يُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ وَالْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ

عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي مُوسَى فَقَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامًا يَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيُرْفَعُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ قُلْنَا وَمَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ الْقَتْلُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فَقَالَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّامًا يَنْزِلُ فِيهَا الْجَهْلُ وَيَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ قُلْنَا وَمَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ

"إِنَّ بَيْنَ يدى السَّاعَة؛ لأَيّامًا يَنْزِلُ فيهَا الْجَهْلُ، وَيُرْفَعُ فيها الْعِلمُ وَيَكْثُرُ فيها الهَرْجُ، وَالْهَرج الْقَتْلُ" .

"تَكُونُ بينَ يَدَى السَّاعَة أَيامٌ؛ يُرْفَعُ فيها الْعِلُم، وينزلُ فيها الجهْلُ، وَتَكْثُرُ فِيهَا الْهَرْجُ -والْهَرْجُ الْقَتْلُ".
