[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat the meat of sacrificial animals and store some."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ وَادَّخِرُوا  

[Machine] I came to this (place), meaning his wife's location, and with her was meat from the sacrificial animals that she had raised. I struck her with a stick, and she said, "Indeed, so-and-so came to us and informed us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I had forbidden you from keeping the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days, so eat and save (some) (for later)."  

أَتَيْتُ هَذِهِ يَعْنِي امْرَأَتَهُ وَعِنْدَهَا لَحْمٌ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْأَضَاحِيِّ قَدْ رَفَعَتْهُ فَرَفَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا الْعَصَا فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ فُلَانًا أَتَانَا فَأَخْبَرَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُكُمْ أَنْ تُمْسِكُوا لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَكُلُوا وَادَّخِرُوا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Qatadah! Do not insult the Quraysh, for perhaps you will see among them men who belittle your deeds with their own deeds, and your actions with their own actions. You will envy them when you see them if it were not for the superiority of the Quraysh. I informed them of what they have with Allah." Yazid Ibn Sami heard me narrating this hadith, and I was narrating it to him. He said, "Asim Ibn Umar Ibn Qatadah narrated to me from his father, who narrated from his grandfather."  

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا قَتَادَةُ لَا تَسُبَّنَّ قُرَيْشًا فَإِنَّهُ لَعَلَّكَ أَنْ تَرَى مِنْهُمْ رِجَالًا تَزْدَرِي عَمَلَكَ مَعَ أَعْمَالِهِمْ وَفِعْلَكَ مَعَ أَفْعَالِهِمْ وَتَغْبِطُهُمْ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ لَوْلَا أَنْ تَطْغَى قُرَيْشٌ لَأَخْبَرْتُهُمْ بِالَّذِي لَهُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ ﷻ قَالَ يَزِيدُ سَمِعَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ وَأَنَا أُحَدِّثُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي عَاصِمُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
