"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)
أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
My nephew, leave him for he defended Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2487a)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and so and so said?
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ فُلَانٌ؟
This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1372)
هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ
[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

وَقَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ
[AI] When the Messenger of Allah commanded the use of bells, he mentioned something similar.
لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالنَّاقُوسِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
"There is no fara' and no' Atirah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4222)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا فَرَعَ وَلَا عَتِيرَةَ»
[AI] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunting with throwing arrows, so he mentioned something similar to it.
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»
“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating cucumbers with dates.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3325)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
(Another chain) from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a similar report. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 568)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ
[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] Regarding the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned something similar to it.
عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] I have never seen the private parts of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
مَا رَأَيْتُ فَرْجَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَطُّ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a night off and mentioned its significance.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَمَ لَيْلَةً فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] "He (Malik) asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , how does revelation come to you, so he mentioned something similar to what Malik said."
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ يَأْتِيكَ الْوَحْيُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوًا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ
"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ
[AI] I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Won't you marry my sister?" So he mentioned the narration.
قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا تَزَوَّجُ أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] I heard Umm Salama mentioning the story.
سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."
بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ riding on a camel and holding a pearl in his hand, then he mentioned the conversation.
أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَبِيَدِهِ دِرَّةٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ
"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ
"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ
[AI] His mother came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "So he mentioned its meaning with us."
أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ
[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying while sitting with crossed legs.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي مُتَرَبِّعًا»
[AI] She said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying while seated."
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مُتَرَبِّعًا»
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Witr (odd number of units for prayer) is a right (obligation)." So he mentioned it in this way and they left it.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِعدي تركوه
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (odd-numbered prayers) is a right, so whoever does not perform Witr is not among us."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ فَمَنْ لَمْ يُوتِرْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا»
The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ
Abu Huraira reported a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2653a)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُصحيح
The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ
ذِكْرُ اسْتِعْمَالِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ الْعَمَلَ الَّذِي وَصَفْنَاهُ
"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting tasbih on his fingers." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1355)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُ التَّسْبِيحَ بِيَدِهِ»
ذِكْرُ الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي صَلَّى ﷺ فِيهِ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house between the two pillars."
«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»
ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْعِيدِ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fasting is a shield."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2224)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا صَوْمَ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ» *
ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْمَرْءِ تَرَكُ صَوْمِ الْعَشْرِ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ، وَإِنْ أَمِنَ الضَّعْفَ لِذَلِكَ
I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasting during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2439)
«مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَامَ الْعَشْرَ قَطُّ»
ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ إِطْلَاقِ اسْمِ الْفِسْقَ عَلَى غَيْرِ أَوْلَادِ آدَمَ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ
"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ»
ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ كُلَّ شَرَابٍ حُكْمُهُ أَنْ يُسْكِرَ حَرَامٌ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ شُرْبُهُ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Every intoxicant is unlawful.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3387)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ»
[AI] "I saw the messenger of Allah ﷺ praying like this."
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي كَذَلِكَ»
ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ الْوَشْمِ إِذِ الْفَاعِلُ وَالْمَفْعُولُ بِهِ ذَلِكَ مَلْعُونَانِ
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The evil eye is a fact," and he forbade tattooing. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5944)
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ» وَنَهَى عَنِ الْوَشْمِ «
ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ إِطْلَاقِ اسْمِ الْفِسْقِ عَلَى غَيْرِ أَوْلَادِ آدَمَ وَالشَّيَاطِينِ
"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, this epidemic is a form of punishment." And he mentioned the hadith.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
