عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اطَّلَعْتُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Modesty is all good." Then he mentioned the hadith.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , overflowed with tranquility, and he commanded them with tranquility.

أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the likes of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be opened, and a people will come who wear alternate clothing." Then, he mentioned the narration (hadith).

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his likeness.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men who mentioned its meaning.

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رِجَالًا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] It means: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be guarded by his companions, so he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَحْرُسُهُ أَصْحَابُهُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَعْتَمَ لَيْلَةً فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, so I said, 'Do you have any news regarding my sister?' Then, he mentioned the conversation."

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ هَلْ لَكَ فِي أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Won't you marry my sister?" So he mentioned the narration.

قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا تَزَوَّجُ أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I said, so he mentioned the conversation.

قُلْتُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard Umm Salama mentioning the story.

سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About Nudbah, he mentioned the story.

عَنْ نُدبَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ riding on a camel and holding a pearl in his hand, then he mentioned the conversation.

أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَبِيَدِهِ دِرَّةٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كَانَ لِيَعْقُوبَ أَخٌ مُؤَاخِيًا» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house between the two pillars."

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent a military expedition to Al-Hurqu'at."

«بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَرِيَّةً إِلَى الْحُرُقَاتِ» الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He informed him (the Prophet), saying, "A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Indeed, I have divorced and remembered the hadith.'"

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَعْزِلُ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, this epidemic is a form of punishment." And he mentioned the hadith.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
