عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

I will not go away unless you get yourself cupped, for I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: It is a remedy. (Using translation from Muslim 2205a)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ فِيهِ الشِّفَاءَ

[AI] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while we were forty and four hundred, and he mentioned the Hadith.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ أَرْبَعُونَ وَأَرْبَعُمِائَةٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Indeed, Allah does not punish, so he mentioned the Hadith."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُعَذِّبُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He informed him that he went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the narration.

أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned its likeness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I looked up and he mentioned something similar to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اطَّلَعْتُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Modesty is all good." Then he mentioned the hadith.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be opened, and a people will come who wear alternate clothing." Then, he mentioned the narration (hadith).

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, so I said, 'Do you have any news regarding my sister?' Then, he mentioned the conversation."

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ هَلْ لَكَ فِي أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Won't you marry my sister?" So he mentioned the narration.

قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا تَزَوَّجُ أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard Umm Salama mentioning the story.

سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned its meaning with us."

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ riding on a camel and holding a pearl in his hand, then he mentioned the conversation.

أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَبِيَدِهِ دِرَّةٌ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ it was said, "Do not make faces" and he mentioned the rest of the hadith.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُقَبِّحُوا الْوُجُوهَ» وَذَكَرَ بَاقِي الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] From the Prophet of Allah ﷺ , it was said, "Jacob had a foster brother." So he mentioned the hadeeth in a similar manner.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كَانَ لِيَعْقُوبَ أَخٌ مُؤَاخِيًا» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Every intoxicant is unlawful.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3387)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ»

‘Urwa bin Al Zubair said “Hisham bin Halim bin Hizam found a man who was the governor of Hims making some Copts stand in the sun for the payment of jizyah. He said “What is this?” I heard the Apostle ﷺ as saying “Allaah Most High will punish those who punish the people in this world.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3045)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُعَذِّبُ الَّذِينَ يُعَذِّبُونَ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, this epidemic is a form of punishment." And he mentioned the hadith.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The passage translates to: "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: 'Indeed, this pandemic is a punishment.' Then he mentioned the hadith."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَبَاءَ رِجْزٌ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "We sent the messenger of Allah ﷺ to Al-Hurqat, and he mentioned the tradition."

«بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْحُرُقَاتِ» فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, Allah does not like obscenity and vulgarity."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ الْمُتَفَحِّشَ»
