12. Remaing Anṣār (1/28)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My Lord has favored me over the prophets or over the nations with four things. He said, 'I have been sent to all people, and the entire earth has been made a mosque and a means of purification for me and my nation. So wherever a man from my nation reaches the time for prayer, his place of prayer and purification will be with him. I have been given victory through fear for a distance of one month's journey, which my enemies can sense in their hearts. And the spoils of war have been made lawful for us.' Abdulah narrated to us, from Yahya bin Ma'in, from Mu'tamir, from his father, from Sayyar, the freed slave of the family of Mu'awiya, in another version, it is said to be Sayyar Ash-Shami."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Glad tidings to those who see me and believe in me, and glad tidings to those who believe in me without seeing me seven times."
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , his example or something similar.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a battle, and I joined him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah for me to be martyred." He said, "O Allah, protect them and grant them spoils." I said, "We returned and gained spoils." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a second battle, and I joined him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah for me to be martyred." He said, "O Allah, protect them and grant them spoils." I said, "We returned and gained spoils." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a third battle, and I joined him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have joined you twice before this. I asked you to pray to Allah for me to be martyred, and you prayed to Allah to protect us and grant us spoils, and we were protected and gained spoils, O Messenger of Allah, so pray to Allah for me to be martyred." He said, "O Allah, protect them and grant them spoils." I said, "We returned and gained spoils." Then I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, command me to do a deed." He said, "Be steadfast in fasting, as there is nothing equivalent to it." He said, "Whenever Abu Umamah, his wife, or his servant were seen, they were fasting." He said, "If smoke was seen during the day in their house it was said, 'Perhaps some guests have stayed with them.'" He said, "I continued this until Allah willed." Then I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you have commanded us to fast, so I hope that Allah has blessed us in it, O Messenger of Allah. Command me to do another deed." He said, "Know that whenever you prostrate to Allah, Allah raises your rank and removes one of your sins."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ initiated a military campaign, so I went to him and he mentioned its purpose except that he said, "Allow me to do a deed that I take from you, and may Allah benefit me with it." He said, "You should observe fasting."
[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, (a story or incident) similar to it or similar to that."
[Machine] I heard Malik ibn Dinar say, "People say that Malik ibn Dinar is an ascetic, but the true ascetic is Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, who was approached by the world but left it behind."
[Machine] "From the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , who said: Whoever says 'alhamdulillah' (praise be to Allah) as many times as the number of his creations, and 'alhamdulillah' fills what he has created, and 'alhamdulillah' is as many times as what is in the heavens and the earth, and 'alhamdulillah' fills what is in the heavens and the earth, and 'alhamdulillah' is as many as what His book has counted, and 'alhamdulillah' fills what His book has counted, and 'alhamdulillah' is as many times as everything, and 'alhamdulillah' fills everything, and 'subhanallah' (glory be to Allah) is like it. So, that is the greatest."
[Machine] The Hour (Day of Judgment) will not come until the best people of Iraq migrate to the Levant (Syria) and the worst people of the Levant migrate to Iraq. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You must stick to the Levant."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Read the Qur'an, for it will intercede for its companions on the Day of Resurrection. Read the two bright ones, Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection as if they are two clouds, or two shade-giving canopies, or like two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for their companions. Then he said, 'Read Al-Baqarah, for taking it up brings blessings and leaving it causes regret, and the magicians cannot confront it.'"
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ laughed and we asked him, "What makes you laugh, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "I am amazed by a people who are led to Paradise with chains."
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Inform me of an action that will admit me to Paradise." He said, "Upon you is fasting, as it has no equal." Then I came to him again and he said to me, "Upon you is fasting."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that there will be men in this Ummah at the end of times, or he said men will emerge from this Ummah at the end of times, who will have sticks like the tails of cows. They will wake up in the anger of Allah and sleep in His wrath."
[Machine] We were told by Sayyar, who said: "Bring me heads from Iraq." So they were brought and placed at the entrance of the mosque. Then Abu Umamah came and entered the mosque, performing two units of prayer, then he came out and looked at them. He raised his head and said, "The worst of those killed under the sky are three, and the best of those killed under the sky are those who are killed." He said, "The dogs of Hellfire, three times." Then he wept and turned away from them. Someone said to him, "O Abu Umamah, what do you think of this statement? Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , or is it something you say based on your own opinion?" He said, "Glory be to Allah! If I had heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ once or twice, even if he had mentioned it seven times, I would never forget it." The man asked him, "For what reason did you weep?" He replied, "Out of mercy for them or from His mercy."

[Machine] "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'None of you should pray while having an urge to relieve oneself, nor should anyone enter a house without permission, nor should an Imam claim leadership over a people and then single himself out by initiating a prayer without them.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever wipes the head of an orphan, not for any reason other than for the sake of Allah, every hair that his hand passes over will be rewarded with good deeds. And whoever treats a female orphan or a male orphan well, I and he will be in Paradise like this," and he gestured with his index finger and middle finger, holding them close together.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Some of the Muslims give shelter to others."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has promised me to admit seventy thousand people from my Ummah into paradise without a reckoning." Yazeed ibn Al-Akhnas As-Salamy said, "By Allah, those people are not rare in your Ummah, they are as abundant as golden flies among common flies." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Verily, my Lord has promised me seventy thousand more with every thousand being followed by seventy thousand, and He has added three handfuls to that." He was asked, "O Prophet of Allah, what is the size of your pond (in paradise)?" He replied, "It is as wide as the distance between 'Aden and 'Uman, and it is the widest and the widest." He gestured with his hand. He was asked, "And what is in it, O Prophet of Allah?" He said, "A golden and silver snake is in it." He was asked, "And what is your pond, O Prophet of Allah?" He said, "The water is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey, and more fragrant than musk. Whoever drinks from it will never be thirsty again and his face will never darken."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Learn the Quran, for it will intercede for you on the Day of Resurrection. Learn Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al 'Imran, for they will come on the Day of Resurrection like two clouds or two flocks of birds, arguing on behalf of their companions. Learn Surah Al-Baqarah, for taking it to be a source of blessing and abandoning it to be a cause of regret, and it is too burdensome for the idle."
[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was stoning the Jamrah (pillar symbolizing Satan). The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, which jihad is more beloved to Allah?" He remained silent until he stoned the second Jamrah, then he turned towards him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, which jihad is more beloved to Allah?" Again, he remained silent until he stoned the third Jamrah, then he turned towards him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, which jihad is more beloved to Allah?" The Prophet replied, "A word of truth spoken to a tyrannical ruler."
that a man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "What is Īmān (faith)?" He said, "If you are happy with your good deeds and are saddened by your bad deeds, then you are a believer." The man said, “O Messenger of Allah, then what is sin?” He said, "If something ˹you do˺ troubles you within, then you should abandon it." (Using translation from Aḥmad 22166)
[Machine] "From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: The bonds of Islam will be broken one by one. Every time a bond is broken, people will hold fast to the one that follows it. The first of these broken bonds is the ruling, and the last is the prayer."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , giving a sermon to the people during the Farewell Pilgrimage. He was sitting on a camel, resting his foot in the stirrup of the saddle, and he was addressing the people. He said, "Do you not hear?" A man from the back of the crowd said, "What are you saying?"
