[Machine] "A woman passed by me in the city, so I followed her. The Messenger ﷺ started selling to the people, meaning the Prophet ﷺ . I went to him but he did not sell to me. The owner of the cloak said, 'He said: I swear by Allah, I will not return.' So he sold to me."  

مَرَّتْ بِي جَارِيَةٌ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَأَخَذْتُ بِكَشْحِهَا قَالَ وَأَصْبَحَ الرَّسُولُ يُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَلَمْ يُبَايِعْنِي فَقَالَ صَاحِبُ الْجُبَيْذَةِ قَالَقُلْتُ وَاللهِ لَا أَعُودُ قَالَ فَبَايَعَنِي  

[Machine] So, a neighbor passed by me on some of the city's streets when I was admiring her beauty. The next day, the people came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him, so I went to him and stretched out my hand to pledge allegiance. He withdrew his hand and said, "Are you the owner of the Jubaythah (a type of cloak)?" Meaning, aren't you the one who had the Jubaythah yesterday? I said, "O Messenger of Allah, pledge me, and by Allah, I will never return." He said, "Very well then."  

فَمَرَّتْ بِي جَارِيَةٌ فِي بَعْضِ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ إِذْ هَوَيْتُ إِلَى كَشْحِهَا فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْغَدُ قَالَ فَأَتَى النَّاسُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُبَايِعُونَهُ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَبَسَطْتُ يَدِي لِأُبَايِعَهُ فَقَبَضَ يَدَهُ وَقَالَ أَجنُكَ صَاحِبُ الْجُبَيْذَةِ؟ يَعْنِي أَمَا إِنَّكَ صَاحِبُ الْجُبَيْذَةِ أَمْسِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَاللهِ بَايِعْنِي فَوَاللهِ لَا أَعُودُ أَبَدًا قَالَ فَنَعَمْ إِذًا
