She said: Do supplicate Allah for blessings upon us, for Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon hiin) used to say: The supplication of a Muslim for his brother at his back (in his absence) is responded so long as he makes a supplica- tion for blessings for his brother and the commissioned Angel says: Amen, and says: May it be for you too I I went to the bazar and met Abfi Dardi' and he narrated like this from Messenger of Allah ﷺ. [Machine] A companion said, "Indeed, I will provide you with something better than that which you asked for. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, the wealthy have taken over the worldly life and the Hereafter. We pray and they pray, we fast and they fast, we give charity and they give charity, but we do not give charity as much as they do.' He ﷺ said, 'Shall I not direct you to something that, if you do it, nobody will surpass you before you or catch up with you after you, except for someone who does the same as you?' For each prayer, say thirty-three times 'Subhanallah' (glory be to Allah), thirty-three times 'Alhamdulillah' (praise be to Allah), and thirty-four times 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest)."

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: If there are three men in a village or in the desert among whom prayer is not offered (in congregation), the devil has got the mastery over them. He said: 'You did not come for some need?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'Did you come for trade?' He said: 'No, I did not come except seeking this Hadith.' So he said: 'Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever takes a path upon which he seeks knowledge, then Allah makes a path to Paradise easy for him. And indeed the angels lower their wings in approval to the one seeking knowledge. Indeed forgiveness is sought for the knowledgeable one by whomever is in the heavens and whomever is in the earth, even the fish in the waters. And superiority of the scholar over the worshiper is like the superiority of the moon over the rest of the celestial bodies. Indeed the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets do not leave behind Dinar or Dirham. [Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Allah says, "Then We have given the Book as inheritance to those We have chosen of Our servants, and among them is he who wrongs himself, and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allah. Then as for those who are foremost in good deeds, they will be the ones who will enter Paradise to enjoy [its blessings] without [any] accounting. And as for those who were moderate in good deeds, they will have [only] a moderate reward. And as for those who were wrongdoers, they will have a share of punishment proportionate to their sins. And they will not be wronged. Then it is they who will be the ones to burn in Hell, and Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And for them is painful punishment." Until His saying, "They are the ones who will say, 'Praise be to Allah, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative. He has granted us Paradise, flowing with rivers of milk, honey and wine.' " Until His saying, "but the sinners will abide eternally in Hellfire."

It was narrated that Ubayy ibn Ka'b said, "One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on the pulpit, delivered a sermon to the people, and recited a verse. I was sitting next to him and I asked, 'O Ubayy, when was this verse revealed?' He refused to respond to me. I asked him again but he still refused to answer until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his sermon. Then I went to him and informed him. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you recited a verse and Ubayy was sitting next to me. I asked him when it was revealed and he refused to answer until you finished. Then he said to me, 'O Ubayy, you have nothing from your Friday prayer except what you have paid attention to.' So when you hear your Imam speaking, listen to him until he finishes."
