12. Remaing Anṣār (1/28)
[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said: I have been sent and the Hour (Day of Judgment) is like this, from this."
“A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than this world and everything in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4330)
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, she has offered herself to you, so give your opinion about her." A man said, "Marry her to me." But the Prophet did not respond to him until the third time, then he asked, "Do you have anything to give as dowry?" The man replied, "No." The Prophet then said, "Go and try to find something, even if it is a ring made of iron." The man said, "I could not find a ring made of iron." The Prophet asked, "Do you have anything from the Quran with you?" The man said, "Yes, I have Surah so and so and Surah so and so." The Prophet then said, "I have married her to you based on what you have from the Quran."
[Machine] Sa'd reported: With what was the wound of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, treated? Sa'd said, "Ali would come with water in his shield while Fatimah washed the blood from his face. Then, he took a mat and burned it, so he shielded his wound with it."
[Machine] He was from the slopes of the forest, meaning the pulpit of the Prophet ﷺ .
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is disturbed in their prayer, let them say, 'Subhanallah.' Indeed, the raising of the voices (tasfiyah) is for women, and the glorification (tasbih) is for men."
[Machine] According to Sahel bin Saad, a man emerged from a hole in the Prophet's chamber while he had a comb in his hand and he was combing his hair with it. The man said, "If I knew you were watching, I would have stabbed your eye with it. Seeking permission is only for the sake of looking."
[Machine] The Prophet saw a vision in Al-Mutala'in and we cursed each other during the time of the Messenger of Allah. I was fifteen years old and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, if I refrain from it (the dream), then I have lied about it." He said, "So bring it to the one who dislikes it."
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1957)
[Machine] Two men disagreed about the covenant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque that was established based on piety. One of them said, "This is the mosque of the Messenger." The other said, "This is the mosque of Qubaa." So, they went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him. He said, "This is my mosque."
[Machine] From Sahl ibn Saad al-Saadi, of the Banu Amr tribe, about a dispute, so he mentioned the story.
[Machine] Among a group of the Ansar, there was an issue, so the Messenger of Allahﷺ went to them to reconcile between them. As the prayer time approached, Bilal came to Abu Bakr and said, "O Abu Bakr, the prayer has approached and the Messenger of Allahﷺ is not here. Shall I give the call to prayer and establish the prayer?" Abu Bakr replied, "Do as you please." So Abu Bakr came forward and led the prayer. Then the Messenger of Allahﷺ arrived and greeted the people with Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr stepped back, and the Messenger of Allahﷺ motioned to him, "Where are you?" Then Abu Bakr stepped back and the Messenger of Allahﷺ came forward and prayed. After completing the prayer, he said to Abu Bakr, "O Abu Bakr, what prevented you from leading the prayer?" Abu Bakr replied, "It was not appropriate for the son of Abu Quhafa to lead the prayer before the Messenger of Allahﷺ." The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, "Then why did you shake hands?" They replied, "We did it to inform Abu Bakr." He said, "Greeting is for women, while glorification is for men."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Beware of the lesser sins, for the example of the lesser sins is like a group of people who settled in the bottom of a valley. Then one person came with a small stick and another person came with another small stick, until they baked their bread. Indeed, the lesser sins, when a person is held accountable for them, can destroy him.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The parable of myself and the Hour is like these two," and he separated between his middle and index fingers. Then, the Prophet said, "The parable of myself and the Hour is like a man dispatched to this people at the forefront of it, and when it is feared the glimmer of his shirt might arrive first, it comes upon you! It comes upon you!"
"Some men used to pray with Messenger of Allah ﷺ tying their lower garments tight like children, it was said to the women: 'Do not raise your heads until the men have sat up completely.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 766)
[Machine] "Sa'd bin Sa'd stumbled during the Battle of Uhud and the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman were on him. The Prophetﷺ said, 'Be patient, O Uhud! For upon you are no one but a prophet, a righteous friend, and two martyrs.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever sits in the mosque waiting for the prayer, then he is considered in prayer."
[Machine] There was a man with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in some of his expeditions. He faced a severe trial but Muslim astonishment at his trial. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, he is from the people of Hell." We said, "He was fighting in the cause of Allah with the Messenger of Allah. Allah and His Messenger know best." He then inflicted a wound upon himself, and when the wound worsened, he placed his sword between his chest and leaned on it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed about the man and it was said to him, "The man whom you said what you said about, I have seen him taking his own life while the sword is between his chest." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, the man is doing the deeds of the people of Paradise while it appears to people that he is doing the deeds of the people of Hell. Verily, he is one of the people of Paradise."
"Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eat Naqi – meaning refined (flour)?” So Sahl said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not see Naqi until he met Allah.” It was said to him: “Did you have sifters during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?” He said: “There were no sifters for us.” They said: “How did you prepare the barley?”He said: “We would blow it so (the husk) would fly off of it, then we would add water so we could knead it.” (Hasan) (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2364)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us while we were digging the ditch and were carrying the earth on our shoulders. (Seeing our condition), he said: O God, there is no life but the life of the Hereafter. So forgive Thou the Muhajirs and the Ansar. (Using translation from Muslim 1804)
"There was some fighting among Banu 'Amr bin 'Awf, and news of that reached the Prophet ﷺ. He prayed Zuhr, then he went to them to reconcile between them. Then he said to Bilal: 'O Bilal, if the time for Asr comes and I have not come back, then tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer.' When the time (for Asr) came, Bilal called the Adhan, then the Iqamah, then he said to Abu Bakr: 'Go forward. So Abu Bakr went forward and started to pray. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and started passing through the rows of people until he stood behind Abu Bakr, and the people clapped. Abu Bakr was such that whenever he started praying, he would never glance sideways, but when he noticed that the clapping persisted he turned around. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gestured to him to carry on praying. Abu Bakr praised Allah the Mighty and Sublime for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ having told him to continue. Then Abu Bakr moved backward on his heels, and when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw that, he came forward and led the people in prayer. When he completed the prayer he said: 'O Abu Bakr, when I gestured to you, what kept you from continuing (to lead the people)?' He said: 'It does not befit the son of Abu Quhafah to lead the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in prayer.' And he (the Prophet) said to the people: 'If you notice something (during the prayer), men should say Subhan Allah and women should clap.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 793)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, Paradise has a gate called Ar-Rayyan, and on the Day of Judgment, it will be said, 'Where are the fasting ones? Come to Ar-Rayyan.' And when the last of them enters, that gate will be closed."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Paradise has a gate called Ar-Rayyan, on the Day of Resurrection a call will be made: Where are the fasting people? So when they enter it, it will be closed and no one else will enter from it. So I met Abu Hazim and asked him about it, and he told me about it except that I remember the narration of Abdur Rahman.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Me and the caretaker of an orphan will be like these two in Paradise." And he pointed with his index and middle fingers, separating them slightly.
I would certainly give this standard to a person at whose hand Allah would grant victory and who loves Allah and His Messenger and Allah and His Messenger love him also. The people spent the night thinking as to whom it would be given. When it was morning the people hastened to Messenger of Allah ﷺ all of them hoping that that would be given to him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Where is 'Ali b. Abu Talib? They said: Messenger of Allah, his eyes are sore. He then sent for him and he was brought and Messenger of Allah ﷺ applied saliva to his eyes and invoked blessings and he was all right, as if he had no ailment at all, and conferred upon him the standard. 'Ali said: Messenger of Allah, I will fight them until they are like us. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Advance cautiously until you reach their open places, thereafter invite them to Islam and inform them what is obligatory for them from the rights of Allah, for, by Allah, if Allah guides aright even one person through you that is better for you than to possess the most valuable of the camels. (Using translation from Muslim 2406)

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying: I shall go to the Cistern before you and he who comes would drink and he who drinks would never feel thirsty, and there would come to me people whom I would know and who would know me. Then there would be intervention between me and them. Abu Hazim said that Nu'man b. Abu 'Ayyash heard it and I narrated to them this hadith, and said: Is it this that you heard Sahl saying? He said: Yes, and I bear witness to the fact that I heard it from Abu Sa'id Khudri also, but he made this addition that he (the Holy Prophet) would say: They are my followers, and it would be said to him: You do not know what they did after you and I will say to them: Woe to him who changes (his religion) after me. Do you permit me to give it to them (the old men), but that boy said: by God. I will not give preference at your hand over me in my share. He (the narrator) said that Messenger of Allah ﷺ then gave it in his hand. (Using translation from Muslim 2030a)

Let me wear it.” He said: “Yes.” When he went inside he folded it up and sent it to him. The people said to him: “By Allah, you have not done well. The Prophet ﷺ wore it because he needed it, then you asked for it, and you knew that he would not refuse anyone who asked him for something.” He said: “By Allah, I did not ask for it so that I could wear it, rather I asked for it so that it could be my shroud.” Sahl said: “And it became his shroud the day he died.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3555)

I was in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he gave a description of Paradise and then Allah's Apostle ﷺ concluded with these words: There would be bounties which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard and no human heart has ever perceived them. He then recited this verse:" They forsake (their) beds, calling upon their Lord in fear and in hope, and spend out of what We have given them. So no soul knows what refreshment of the eyes is hidden for them: a reward for what they did" (xxxii. 16-17) (Using translation from Muslim 2825)

"Uwaimir came to 'Asim bin 'Adi and said: 'Ask the Messenger of Ailah ﷺ for me: "Do you think that if a man finds another man with his wife and kills him, he should be killed in retaliation, or what should he do?" 'Asim asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ disapproved of the question. Then 'Uwaimir met him ('Asim) and asked him about that, saying: 'What did you do?’ He said: I did that and you have not brought me any good. I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he disapproved of this question.’ Uwaimir said: 'By Allah, I will go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ myself and ask him.' So he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found that Qur'an had been revealed concerning them, and the Prophet ﷺ told them to go through the procedure of Li'an. 'Uwaimir said: 'O Messenger of Allah, ﷺ by Allah if I take her back, I would have been telling lies about her.' So he left her before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him to do so, and that became the Sunnah for two who engage in the procedure of Li'an. Then the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Wait and see. If she gives birth to a child who is black in color with widely-spaced dark eyes and large buttocks, then I think that he was telling the truth about her, but if she gives birth to a child with a red complexion like a Wahrah,[1] then I think that he was lying.' Then she gave birth to a child with features resembling those of the man concerning whom she was accused." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2066)
