[Machine] A man peeked at the Prophet ﷺ from the corner of a room, and the Prophet ﷺ had a stick in his hand. The man said, "If I knew that he was looking at me until I reached him, I would have poked him in the eye with the stick. Was seeking permission only established for the purpose of seeing?"
أَنَّ رَجُلًا اطَّلَعَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنْ سِتْرِ حُجْرَةٍ وَفِي يَدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِدْرًى فَقَالَ لَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا يَنْظُرُنِي حَتَّى آتِيَهُ لَطَعَنْتُ بِالْمِدْرَى فِي عَيْنِهِ وَهَلْ جُعِلَ الِاسْتِئْذَانُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَجْلِ الْبَصَرِ
