[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Paradise has a gate called Ar-Rayyan, on the Day of Resurrection a call will be made: Where are the fasting people? So when they enter it, it will be closed and no one else will enter from it. So I met Abu Hazim and asked him about it, and he told me about it except that I remember the narration of Abdur Rahman.  

أحمد:٢٢٨١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُدْعَى الرَّيَّانُ يُقَالُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَيْنَ الصَّائِمُونَ؟ فَإِذَا دَخَلُوهُ أُغْلِقَ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْهُ غَيْرُهُمْ قَالَ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا حَازِمٍ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ غَيْرَ أَنِّي لِحَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَحْفَظُ

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الصَّائِمِينَ إِذَا دَخَلُوا مِنْ بَابِ الرَّيَّانِ أُغْلِقَ بَابُهُمْ، وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُمْ

ibnhibban:3420 – ʿUmar b. Muḥammad al-Hamdānī > Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān al-ʿIjlī > Khālid b. Makhlad > Sulaymān b. Bilāl > Abū Ḥāzim > Sahl b. Saʿd

In Paradise there is a gate which is called Rayyan through which only the people who fast would enter on the Day on Resurrection. None else would enter along with them. It would be proclaimed: Where are the people who fast that they should be admitted into it? And when the last of them would enter, it would be closed and no one would enter it. (Using translation from Muslim 1152)  

ابن حبّان:٣٤٢٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ الصَّائِمُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُمْ يُقَالُ أَيْنَ الصَّائِمُونَ فَيَقُومُونَ فَيَدْخُلُونَ مِنْهُ فَإِذَا دَخَلَ آخِرُهُمْ أُغْلِقَ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْهُ أَحَدٌ»
