We were with the Prophet ﷺ and he was holding the hand of ʿUmar bin Al-Khattab. ʿUmar said to Him, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! You are dearer to me than everything except my own self." The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete faith) till I am dearer to you than your own self." Then ʿUmar said to him, "However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Now, O ʿUmar, (now you are a believer). (Using translation from Bukhārī 6632)  

كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ آخِذٌ بِيَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ وَاللهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَأَنْتَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا نَفْسِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ نَفْسِكَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ فَأَنْتَ الْآنَ وَاللهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ نَفْسِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْآنَ يَا عُمَرُ  

[Machine] That his grandfather, Abdullah ibn Hisham, had a dream during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and married women.  

أَنَّ جَدَّهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ هِشَامٍ احْتَلَمَ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَنَكَحَ النِّسَاءَ
