AHMAD 22197:
from Abū Umāmah —
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "The most beloved of people to me is a believing servant who is humble, has a portion of prayer, obeys his Lord, and excels in his worship in secret. He remains mysterious among people and is not pointed at with fingers. His livelihood is sufficient." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , then tapped his two fingers together, indicating that his livelihood is sufficient. It was also added that his life and wealth will end quickly, and his possessions will be few. Abu 'Abdul-Rahman asked his father, "What will be his inheritance?" He replied, "His inheritance will be..."
