that Jamila... Then he related the whole ,Hadith, (i.e. 199).

أَنَّ جَمِيلَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he related like this.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me and mentioned something similar to the narration of Al-Zuhri.

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said and then he mentioned the Hadith.

يَقُولُقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon and mentioned the hadith.

خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari, from the descendants of Bani Abdul Ashhal, said that Abu Sa'id said, "He mentioned the narration."

أَنَّ أَبَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ قَالَ إِنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during the Farewell Pilgrimage and mentioned its significance.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the hadith."

أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned something similar to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He who does not enter the Fire (Hell), similar to it is mentioned."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَلِجُ النَّارَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] We met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the hadith.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the narration.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the conversation.

أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The example of my Ummah (community) is like that of four people." And he mentioned the Hadith.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ أَرْبَعَةٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2556c)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I looked up and he mentioned something similar to it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اطَّلَعْتُ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About Sameerah, he mentioned the story.

عَنْ سَمُرَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, say a word to me and make it concise, so he (the Prophet) mentioned the hadith."

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قُلْ لِي قَوْلًا وَأَقْلِلْ عَلَيَّ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Prophet of Allah (may ﷺ ) said about the Dajjal (Antichrist) and mentioned something similar to him.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الدَّجَّالِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا بِلَالُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah dislikes it, so he mentioned the matter."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ يُبْغِضُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the conversation."

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned the like of it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned him like himself, equal.

رَسُولُ الله ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً

[AI] "He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, so I said, 'Do you have any news regarding my sister?' Then, he mentioned the conversation."

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ هَلْ لَكَ فِي أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] I said, so he mentioned the conversation.

قُلْتُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About Nudbah, he mentioned the story.

عَنْ نُدبَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] Regarding the adornment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , the mentioning of the hadith in its entirety.

عَنْ حِلْيَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ» فَذِكْرُ الْحَدِيثِ بِطُولِهِ

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, this epidemic is a form of punishment." And he mentioned the hadith.
