[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave an example of this nation, resembling four individuals, and then mentioned the narration.

ضَرَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَثَلَ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ مَثَلَ أَرْبَعَةِ نَفَرٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the one who upholds the limits of Allah is like that of a narration mentioned."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the believers is like that of a conversation."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "I looked up and he mentioned something similar to it."

أحمد:١٩٨٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ زَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

أحمد:١٢٤٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ وَحُمَيْدٍ وَيُونُسَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي فَذَكَرَهُ

ahmad:21562 – Aswad b. ʿĀmir > Abū Bakr > Muṭarrif > Abū al-Jahm > Khālid b. Wuhbān > Abū Dhar

أحمد:٢١٥٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ وُهْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

darimi:2392 – Muḥammad b. Yūsuf > Sufyān > Yūnus > al-Ḥasan > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Samurah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)
