This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: I would be the first intercessor in the Paradise and no apostle amongst the apostles has been testified (by such a large number of people) as I have been testified. And verily there woald be an apostle among the apostles who would be testified to by only one man from his people. (Using translation from Muslim 196c)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَنَا أَوَّلُ شفيعٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»
My nephew, leave him for he defended Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2487a)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
[AI] Did you hear from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, "And I am preparing for."
سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟» فَقَالَ وَأَتَحَلَّلُ
"Whenever Anas bin Malik finished narrating a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would say, 'Or as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 24)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا قَالَ أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The grateful eater is like the patient person who observes fasting."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الطَّاعِمُ الشَّاكِرُ كَالصَّائِمِ الصَّابِرِ»
Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»
“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating cucumbers with dates.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3325)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
I do not eat while reclining. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3769)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»
“The oen who serves water to others should be the last one to drink from it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3434)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ شُرْبًا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most truthful of dreams are those seen in the pre-dawn hours."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَصْدَقُ الرُّؤْيَا بِالْأَسْحَارِ»
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is no marriage except with a guardian.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1881)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ»
(Another chain) from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a similar report. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 568)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ
that the Messenger of Allah said: “Three days for a previously-married woman and seven days for a virgin.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1916)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِلْبِكْرِ سَبْعٌ وَلِلثَّيِّبِ ثَلَاثٌ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best of you are those who are best to their families, and when your companion dies, then leave him be.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ وَإِذَا مَاتَ صَاحِبُكُمْ فَدَعُوهُ»
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4960)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4964)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»
“The hand is not to be cut off for (stealing) produce or the spadix of palm trees.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2593)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا قَطْعَ فِي ثَمَرٍ وَلَا كَثَرٍ»
The Messenger of Allah said: "There is no vow to commit an act of disobedience or with regard to that which the son of Adam does not possess." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3851)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا وَفَاءَ لِنَذْرٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ
"Your oath is as your companion understands it to be." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2121)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَمِينُكَ عَلَى مَا يَصْدُّ قَكَ بِهِ صَاحِبُكَ»
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed the spoil equally among the participants, with five camels for each."
«قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسًا خَمْسًا مِنَ الْإِبِلِ»
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ compensated a man with two men.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَادَى رَجُلًا بِرَجُلَيْنِ
[AI] The translation of the given Arabic sentence into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Verily, we do not seek help from a polytheist.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّا لَا نَسْتَعِينُ بِمُشْرِكٍ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If it were not for the migration (to Medina), I would have been one of the Ansar (the helpers of Medina)."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَءًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The servant of a people is from among them, and the ally of a people is from among them, and the nephew of a people is from among them."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَحَلِيفُ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ»
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only a wrongdoer hoards." (It was said) twice.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» مَرَّتَيْنِ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade Gharar transactions. " (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2195)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْغَرَرِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Its tanning makes it pure."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «دِبَاغُهَا طَهُورُهَا»
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The lost animal of the Muslim may lead to the burning flame of Hell.' ” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2502)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «ضَالَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِ حَرَقُ النَّارِ»
[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbidding the selling (renting of) uncultivated land for two years or three. (Using translation from Muslim 1536x)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ الْأَرْضِ الْبَيْضَاءِ سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا»
That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade earnings of slave-girls. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3425)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْإِمَاءِ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (taking hire for) a stallion's covering. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3429)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ ثَمَنِ عَسْبِ الْفَحْلِ»
the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever is silent, he is saved.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَمَتَ نَجَا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The righteous ones will depart first, while the rest will remain like the remnants of barley."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَذْهَبُ الصَّالِحُونَ أَسْلَافًا وَيَبْقَى حُثَالَةٌ كَحُثَالَةِ الشَّعِيرِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should say that I am superior to Yunus bin Matta."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A good deed is rewarded ten times its like."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which deeds are the best?" He replied, "Praying on time."
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ لِوَقْتِهَا
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying something similar to that.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
the Messenger of Allah forbade selling water. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4660)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْمَاءِ»
Abu Huraira reported a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2653a)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُصحيح
“May Allah have mercy on the one who keeps watch over the troops.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2769)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «رَحِمَ اللَّهُ حَارِسَ الْحَرَسِ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone kills a man whom he grants protection prematurely, Allah will forbid him to enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2760)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَتَلَ مُعَاهَدًا فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: Islam does not allow for failure to perform the hajj. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1729)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا صَرُورَةَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Women and perfume have been made dear to me, but my comfort has been provided in prayer.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3940)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُبِّبَ إِلَيَّ النِّسَاءُ وَالطِّيبُ وَجُعِلَتْ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1847)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يُرَ لِلْمُتَحَابِّينِ مِثْلُ التَّزَوُّجِ»
It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The nobility of the people of this world, that which they (always) go to, is wealth.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3225)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَحْسَابَ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الَّذِي يَذْهَبُونَ إِلَيْهِ هَذَا الْمَالُ»
“Being honorable is wealth and noble character is piety.’ (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4219)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْحَسَبُ الْمَالُ وَالْكَرَمُ التَّقْوَى»
The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is no marriage except with a guardian.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1881)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيِّ»
[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Announce the marriage."
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَعْلِنُوا النِّكَاحَ»
