[Machine] About that Prophet, ﷺ , he said to her: "Command her to ride." So, he assumed that she didn't understand him. When those who were with him left, he returned and asked her. He said to her: "Command her to ride, for indeed Allah, the Almighty, Himself will avenge your sister."

"While I was leading the Messenger of Allah [SAW] (on his mount) in one of these mountain passes, he said: 'Why don't you ride, O 'Uqbah?' I had too much respect for the Messenger of Allah [SAW] to ride the mount of the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. Then he said: 'Why don't you ride, O 'Uqbah?' I was worried that I might be disobeying him, so he got off, and I rode for a little while, then I got off and the Messenger of Allah [SAW] rode. Then he said: 'Shall I not teach you two of the best Surahs that the people recite?' And he taught me: 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak,' and 'Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind." Then the Iqamah was said and he went forward and recited them. Then he passed by me and said: 'What do you think, O 'Uqbah bin 'Amir? Recite them every time you go to sleep and get up.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5437)
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to him: "O Ibn 'Abis, shall I not tell you of the best thing with which those who seek refuge with Allah may do so?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak.", "Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind." - these two Surahs." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5432)
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "Whoever takes care of three dependents and considers them an obligation upon Allah, Abu Ushshaanah said it once for the sake of Allah and did not repeat it again, Paradise becomes obligatory for him."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two Surahs were revealed to me, so seek refuge with them, for indeed, no one sought refuge with anything similar to them."
“Allah will admit three people to Paradise by virtue of one arrow: The one who makes it, seeking reward by making it well; the one who shoots it; and the one who hands it to him.” And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Shoot and ride, and if you shoot that is dearer to me than if you ride. All things that a Muslim man does for entertainment are in vain except for shooting arrows, training his horse and playing with his wife, for these are things that bring reward.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2811)

the Prophet said: “Allah has revealed to me Ayat the likes of which have not been seen: “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind…” until the end of the Surat. “Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of Al-Falaq…” until the end of the Surat. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3367)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed the sacrifices among his companions. Uqbah ibn Amir received a leg. He asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and he said to give it as charity.
“You are the most deserving of that, you were the Companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” But he refused and said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Whoever leads the people and gets it right, the prayer will be for him and for them, but if he falls short, then that will be counted against him but not against them.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 983)
[Machine] "To walk barefoot without fermenting, the Prophet ﷺ was asked, and he said: Allah does not bring any hardship upon your sister, so wear shoes, ride, and fast for three days."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, the example of one who does evil deeds and then does good deeds is like the example of a man who was wearing a tight chainmail that was choking him. Then he did a good deed, and one of the rings of the chainmail broke. Then he did another good deed, and another ring broke. And so on, until he is set free on the earth."
[Machine] Uqbah bin Amer, may Allah and His Messenger bless him, said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'There will come a time when men will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion just as the arrow passes through the prey.'"
[Machine] I heard Uqbah bin Amir saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me as a collector. I sought permission from him to partake from the charity, so he granted us permission."
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to tell his wives not to wear jewelry and silk. He said: "If you want the jewelry and silk of Paradise, then do not wear them in this world." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5136)
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "When you see Allah giving the servant from the worldly life what he loves despite his sins, then it is only a means to lure him in. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited, 'So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We opened to them the doors of every [good] thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were [then] in despair.' [Quran 6:44]."
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "Your Lord is amazed by a shepherd in the peak of a mountain who calls the Adhan for prayer and establishes it."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Your lineages are not a reason to boast over anyone. Indeed, you are all children of Adam, and Adam was created from clay. You are all equal, there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, nor of a non-Arab over an Arab, except by their piety and righteous deeds. It is sufficient for a person to be considered disgraceful if they are wicked, miserly, or cowardly."
We served ourselves in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We tended our camels by turn. One day I had my turn to tend the camels, and I drove them in the afternoon. I found the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressing the people. I heard him say: Anyone amongst you who performs ablution, and does it well, then he stands and offers two rak’ahs of prayer, concentrating on it with his heart and body, Paradise will be his lot by all means. I said: Ha-ha! How fine it is! A man in front of me said: The action (mentioned by the Prophet) earlier, O ‘Uqbah, is finer that this one. I looked at him and found him to be ‘Umar b. al-Khattab. I asked him: What is that, O Abu Hafs? He replied: He (the Prophet) had said before you came: If any one of you performs ablution, and does it well, and when he finishes the ablution, he utters the words : I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, He has no associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Servant and His Messenger, all the eight doors of Paradise will be opened for him; he may enter (through) any of them. Mu’awiyah said: Rabi’ah b. Yazid narrated this tradition to me from Abu Idris and the authority of ‘Uqbah b.’Amir. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 169)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said three things:
If there is a cure in anything, it is in cautery, drinking honey, or cauterization for pain. However, I dislike cauterization.
[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that there is no action taken on a day except that it is sealed. So, when a believer falls ill, the angels say, 'O our Lord, You have imprisoned your servant so-and-so.' Then the Lord says, 'Seal the same amount of good deeds for him until he recovers or dies.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Learn the Book of Allah, hold onto it, and recite it, for I swear by the One in whose hand is my soul, it is more deviant than the throes of childbirth in the intellect."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I fear for my Ummah (Islamic nation) from the book and milk." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with the book?" He said, "The hypocrites will study it and then debate with the believers using it." It was then asked, "And what is the matter with milk?" He said, "There will be people who love milk, and they will separate themselves from the gatherings and abandon the congregations."
"The expiation for vows is the expiation for an oath." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3832)
[Machine] He heard Uqbah bin Amir saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not cause harm to yourselves after having safety." They asked, "What is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Debt."
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Allah, Most High, will cause three persons to enter Paradise for one arrow: the maker when he has a good motive in making it, the one who shoots it, and the one who hands it; so shoot and ride, but your shooting is dearer to me than your riding. Everything with which a man amuses himself is vain except three (things): a man's training of his horse, his playing with his wife, and his shooting with his bow and arrow. If anyone abandons archery after becoming an adept through distaste for it, it is a blessing he has abandoned; or he said: for which he has been ungrateful. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2513)
[Machine] "To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Recite the Mu'awwizatayn, for you will not recite anything like them.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, after me there will be leaders among you. If they pray the prayer on its appointed time and complete the bowing and prostration, then it is for them and for you. But if they do not pray the prayer on its appointed time and do not complete the bowing and prostration, then it is for you and against them."

[Machine] Abu Ayyub Khalid ibn Zaid Al-Ansari, the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , came to us from Egypt as a warrior. Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan assigned Uqbah ibn Amir ibn Abi Abs Al-Juhani as our commander. Uqbah ibn Amir was held captive in Maghrib (Western lands). When he finished praying, Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari approached him and said, "O Uqbah, is this how you saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray Maghrib? Did you not hear him say, 'My nation will always remain in a state of goodness, as long as they do not delay Maghrib prayer until the stars clash'?" Uqbah replied, "Yes, indeed." Abu Ayyub asked, "Then what made you do what you did?" Uqbah answered, "I was preoccupied." Abu Ayyub said, "By Allah, the only reason I can think of is that people would think you had witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform such an act."

I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so I approached him. He then grabbed me by my hand and said: I said, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, what is the salvation of a believer? He said, "O ʿUqbah! Guard your tongue, let your house be big enough for you, and cry over your sins."
He said: Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met me then approached me and grabbed me by my hand then said, "O ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir! Shall I not teach you the best of three Sūrahs revealed in the Torah, Gospel, and the Great Quran?" He said, I said: Certainly, may Allah ˹allow˺ me to be sacrificed for you. He said, "The recite for me 'Say, He is Allah, the One Absolutely Unique.' (Ikhlāṣ 112:1), and 'Say, I seek refuge from the Lord of the daybreak.' (Falaq 113:1), and 'Say, I seek refuge from the Lord of humankind.' (Nās 114:1)'" Then he said, "O ʿUqbah! Do not forget them and do not let a night pass by until you recite them." He then said: I did not ever forget since he told me "Do not forget them," and no night ever passed me by until I recited them.
ʿUqbah said: Then I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I approached him. Then I grabbed a hold of his hand and said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, inform me about virtuous deeds. Then he said, "O ʿUqbah! Tie back ˹ties of kinship˺ with the one who cuts it off, ˹continue to˺ give to the one who prevents you from having, and leave alone the one who wrongs you."

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Whoever is taught archery and then abandons it after having been taught, then it is a blessing that he has rejected."
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said: "Yes, I heard him say that Allah admits three people into Paradise because of a single arrow. The companion who has good intentions and expectations for his good deed, the one who prepares it (arrow) in the way of Allah, and the one who throws it in the way of Allah. He also said: 'Throw and ride, and if you throw, it is better than riding.' And he said: 'Everything that the son of Adam plays with is vain except for three: his archery, training his horse, and playing with his family. For indeed, they are from the truth.' He said: 'Then Uqbah passed away and he had sixty-two or sixty-seven bows, with each bow having a quiver and a collar, and he advised them in the way of Allah.' 17338 narrated to us Yazid bin Harun, who said: Hisham narrated to us from Yahya, from Abu Salam, from Abdullah bin Azraq, from Uqbah bin Amir, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Verily, Allah admits three people into Paradise because of a single arrow.' And he mentioned the rest of the hadith.

[Machine] "What brought you here?" They replied, "We are companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . We wanted to walk with you and greet you." He said, "Come down and pray." So they descended and he prayed, and they prayed with him. When he finished praying, he said, "When someone meets Allah without associating anything with Him, having not shed any unlawful blood, they will enter Paradise through whichever gate they please."
