8.53 [Machine] Habib bin Muslama Al-Fahri

٨۔٥٣ حديث حبيب بن مسلمة الفهري

ahmad:17462 – Wakīʿ > Sufyān And ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Sufyān > Yazīd b. Yazīd b. Jābir > Makḥūl > Zayd b. a neighboriyah > Ḥabīb b. Maslamah > ʿAbd al-Razzāq al-Tamīmī / Zayd b. a neighboriyah > Ḥabīb b. Maslamah al-Fihrī

It was narrated from Habib bin Maslamah that the Prophet ﷺ awarded one third (of the spoils of war) after the one fifth (had been taken). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2851)  

أحمد:١٧٤٦٢ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ التَّمِيمِيُّ يَعْنِي زَيْدَ بْنَ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ الْفِهْرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ

[Machine] I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ perform the voluntary prayer of the third portion of the night.  

أحمد:١٧٤٦٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ

[Machine] "I witnessed the Prophet of Allah ﷺ perform the night prayer known as Tahajjud."  

أحمد:١٧٤٦٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ التَّمِيمِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ  

ahmad:17465 – Ḥammād b. Khālid / al-Khayyāṭ > Muʿāwiyah / Ibn Ṣāliḥ > al-ʿAlāʾ b. al-Ḥārith > Makḥūl > Zayd b. a neighboriyahaʿan Ḥabīb b. Maslamah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer the optional prayer of Raw'ah after the mid-morning prayer, and used to offer the optional prayer of Thuluth after the mid-afternoon prayer.  

أحمد:١٧٤٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ الْخَيَّاطُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَفَلَ الرُّبُعَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ فِي بَدْأَتِهِ وَنَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ فِي رَجْعَتِهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ  

ahmad:17467 – Abū al-Mughīrah > Saʿīd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Sulaymān b. Mūsá > Zayd b. a neighboriyah > Ḥabīb b. Maslamah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would give a third of the spoils after he would keep off the fifth. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2748)   

أحمد:١٧٤٦٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَفَلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ

[Machine] I witnessed the Prophet ﷺ praying the Sunnah after the fifth prayer in the beginning, and the third prayer before returning. Abu Abdur-Rahman said, "I heard my father say, 'There is no man in the Levant who narrates hadith better than Sa'id ibn Abd al-Aziz al-Tanukhi, the hadith of a companion of the Prophet ﷺ.'"  

أحمد:١٧٤٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَفَلَ الرُّبُعَ بَعْدَ الْخُمْسِ فِي الْبَدْأَةِ وَالثُّلُثَ فِي الرَّجْعَةِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ لَيْسَ فِي الشَّامِ رَجُلٌ أَصَحُّ حَدِيثًا مِنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي التَّنُوخِيَّ حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
