فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ مَوْقُوفًا
My nephew, leave him for he defended Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2487a)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
(Another chain) from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a similar report. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 568)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so he mentioned something similar to it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا جَلَبَ وَلَا جَنَبَ وَلَا شِغَارَ
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] The Prophet of Allah (may ﷺ ) said about the Dajjal (Antichrist) and mentioned something similar to him.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الدَّجَّالِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned the narration."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] It means: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be guarded by his companions, so he mentioned something similar to it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَحْرُسُهُ أَصْحَابُهُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, so he mentioned the same.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] "He came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned the conversation."
أَنَّهُ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] "He (Malik) asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , how does revelation come to you, so he mentioned something similar to what Malik said."
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ يَأْتِيكَ الْوَحْيُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوًا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ
"Geckos are vermin." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2886)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ
[AI] I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Won't you marry my sister?" So he mentioned the narration.
قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا تَزَوَّجُ أُخْتِي؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention something similar.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in my house, so he mentioned its meaning.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.
صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ
"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ
[AI] His mother came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "So he mentioned its meaning with us."
أَنَّ أُمَّهُ أَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ
The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
So he mentioned it in similar wording.
فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "Witr (odd number of units for prayer) is a right (obligation)." So he mentioned it in this way and they left it.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِعدي تركوه
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Witr (the nightly odd numbered prayer) is a right (that it should be performed)." Then the narrated something similar.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْوِتْرُ حَقٌّ» فَذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِ
The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)

Abu Huraira reported a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2653a)
