أحمد:٢٣٦٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he related like this.

مسلم:٥٢١b – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الْفَقِيرُ أَخْبَرَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

abudawud:1491 – Muḥammad b. Yaḥyá b. Fāris > Ibrāhīm b. Ḥamzah > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muḥammad > al-ʿAbbās b. ʿAbdullāh b. Maʿbad b. ʿAbbās > Akhīh Ibrāhīm b. ʿAbdullāh > Ibn ʿAbbās

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

أبو داود:١٤٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

ahmad:10176 – Ibn Numayr > al-Aʿmash > Abūṣāliḥ > Abū Hurayrah

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

أحمد:١٠١٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُوصَالِحٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

ahmad:13061 – ʿAbd al-Wāḥid > Ḥammād b. Zayd > Salm al-ʿAlawī > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'O my son.'"
