The Prophet ﷺ gave the verdict that ʿUmra is for the one to whom it is presented.

قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِالْعُمْرَى أَنَّهَا لِمَنْ وُهِبَتْ لَهُ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "ʿUmrá is permissible."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ۔»

Messenger of Allah ﷺ called,: "War is deceit".

سَمَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْحَرْبَ خُدْعَةً

The Prophet ﷺ said, "War is deceit."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ الْحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not prefer some prophets to others."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُخَيِّرُوا بَيْنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ

"Water is for Water." [1] [1] That is, water for peforming Ghusl is obligatory when the ejaculation of water (semen) occurs. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 199)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "There is no marriage except with a guardian."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The advisor is trustworthy."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»

[AI] About a man who died and left his daughter with no known heir; he said, "She inherits all his wealth."

عَنْ رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ ابْنَتَهُ لَا يُعْلَمُ وَارِثٌ غَيْرُهَا قَالَ «لَهَا الْمَالُ كُلُّهُ»

"The murderer will not inherit." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2109)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْخَالُ وَارِثٌ»

There is no transitive disease, no huma, no star promising rain, no safar. (Using translation from Muslim 2220d)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا صَفَرَ وَلَا هَامَةَ وَلَا نَوْءَ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Life tenancy is permissible. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3548)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] "And indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If people only knew what awaits them.'"

وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا لَهُمْ

[AI] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , that he said, 'Water is from water.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ

Do not distinguish between the Prophets. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4668)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُخَيِّرُوا بَيْنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ

[AI] "The deceased knows who washes him, carries him, and leads him," He said, "So I went from Abu Sa'eed to Ibn Umar and informed him." Then Abu Sa'eed passed by and asked him, "From whom did you hear this hadith?" He said, "From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

الْمَيِّتُ يَعْرِفُ مَنْ يُغَسِّلُهُ وَيَحْمِلُهُ وَيُدَلِّيهِ قَالَ فَقُمْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَمَرَّ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ مِمَّنْ سَمِعْتَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ؟ قَالَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Life tenancy is permissible. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3548)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Good will remain (as a permanent quality) in the foreheads of horses till the Day of Resurrection." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2850)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6168)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'No marriage is valid without the presence of a guardian.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ

ʿThere is no obedience to any human being if it involves disobedience to Allah.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 1065)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا طَاعَةَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا طَاعَةَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ

[AI] From the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who said, "Modesty is entirely good."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Life tenancy is permissible. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3548)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: A Muslim may not inherit from an infidel nor an infidel from a Muslim. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2909)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَرِثُ الْمُسْلِمُ الْكَافِرَ

Abu Dawud said “I heard Muhammad bin Isa narrating this tradition who said Mu’tamar narrated it to us. And he (Mu’tamar) said “ I heard Al Hakam bin Aban narrating this tradition. He did not mention the name of Ibn ‘Abbas. Abu Dawud said “Al Hussain bin Huraith wrote to me saying “Al Fadl bin Musa narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas to the same effect from the Prophet ﷺ. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, so he mentioned the same.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Al-Kharaj is through guarantee."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْخَرَاجُ بِالضَّمَانِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The burden is with the guarantor."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْغَلَّةُ بِالضَّمَانِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "No one is prevented from drawing water from a well."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُمْنَعُ نَقْعُ مَاءٍ فِي بِئْرٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to her during her waiting period, "Do not marry until you inform me."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا فِي عِدَّتِهَا لَا تَنْكِحِي حَتَّى تُعْلِمِينِي

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "It is not appropriate for a believer to be foul-mouthed."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُؤْمِنِ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا»

[AI] The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Indeed, the believer is to the believer like a building, each part supporting and strengthening the other."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ يَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet (PBUH), he said, "Regret is repentance."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no intimacy while fasting."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا وِصَالَ فِي الصِّيَامِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no riba (usury/interest), except in nasi'ah (delayed payment)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no usury except in the undeserved increase."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The translation of the passage from Arabic to English is:

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no usury except in evil."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no usury except in a delayed payment."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "There is no riba (usury or interest) except in doing something harmful (to others)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no usury except in bad debt."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "May knowledge be a source of blessing for Abu Al-Mundhir."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لِيَهْنِكَ الْعِلْمُ أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "O one with two ears."

لِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا ذَا الْأُذُنَيْنِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to say to me, "O one with two ears."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِي يَا ذَا الْأُذُنَيْنِ
