(who was one of the companions who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ underneath the tree (Al-Hudaibiya)) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam (i.e. if somebody swears by saying that he is a non-Muslim e.g., a Jew or a Christian, etc.) in case he is telling a lie, he is really so if his oath is false, and a person is not bound to fulfill a vow about a thing which he does not possess. And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection; And if somebody curses a believer, then his sin will be as if he murdered him; And whoever accuses a believer of Kufr (disbelief), then it is as if he killed him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6047)

Verily the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who took an oath on a religion other than Islam as a liar would become so as he said, and he who slaughtered himself with a thing would be slaughtered with that on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 110d)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no oath (binding) in disobedience to Allah, and neither in what the son of Adam does not possess. Whoever curses a Muslim, it is as if he has killed him. And whoever labels a Muslim as a disbeliever, then he himself has disbelieved. And whoever makes a false, deliberate oath on anything other than Islam, then he is as he said. And whoever kills himself with something, he will be punished with it in the Fire."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Cursing a believer is like killing them. And whoever declares a Muslim as disbeliever, it will return upon one of them." Abu al-Qasim said, "Abu Abdullah, also known as Khalid al-Hadha', has two titles: Abu Munazil and Abu Abdullah."
In the time of the Prophet ﷺ a man took a vow to slaughter a camel at Buwanah. So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I have taken a vow to sacrifice a camel at Buwanah. The Prophet ﷺ asked: Did the place contain any idol worshipped in pre-Islamic times? They (the people) said: No. He asked: Was any pre-Islamic festival observed there? They replied: No. The Prophet ﷺ said: Fulfil your vow, for a vow to do an act of disobedience to Allah must not be fulfilled, neither must one do something over which a human being has no control. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3313)

a man brought a mastigure to the Prophet and he said? "A nation was transformed, and Allah knows best " (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4322)
[Machine] A man from the tribe of Bani Fazara came to the Prophet ﷺ with a bundle of hunted game and started flipping a lizard with it in his hand. The Prophet ﷺ said, "A nation of people were turned into animals." And my understanding of his statement is that he said, "I don't know what she did and I don't know if this is from her."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ was presented with roasted lizard, so the Prophet ﷺ took a stick and started poking his fingers with it, then he said, 'A nation from the Children of Israel were transformed into animals on earth, and I do not know which animals they were.' He neither ate it nor forbade it."

“We were with the Prophet ﷺ and the people caught a mastigure. They grilled it and ate from it. Then I caught a mastigure so I grilled it and brought it to the Prophet ﷺ. He took a palm stalk and started counting his finger with it, and said: ‘A nation from among the Children of Israel was turned into beasts of the earth, and I do not know if this is they.’ I said: ‘The people have grilled them and eaten them.’ He did not eat it and he did not forbid it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3238)
[Machine] The Jews used to say that if a small child is born to them, he is righteous. When this news reached the Prophet ﷺ , he said that the Jews lied. There is no human being that Allah creates in the womb of their mother except that they are destined to be either miserable or successful. Allah revealed this verse at that time: "He knows you well when He created you from the earth and when you were hiding in your mothers' wombs."

[Machine] We captured sheep on the day of Khaybar, and the people took them eagerly. Then the Prophet ﷺ came and saw their pots boiling. He asked, "What is this?" They replied, "It is a share, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Return it, for the share is not permissible. Just keep what is left of it."
[Machine] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passing by pots that contained stolen lamb meat, so he commanded for them to be emptied and said, "Indeed, looting is not permissible."
By Allah, I am certain that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that. (Using translation from Aḥmad 101)
