[Machine] The Prophet (PBUH) affirmed the oath of allegiance taken by the seeker of truth, which was exclusively done by Sulaiman ibn Abdur Rahman Ad-Damashqi, with his chain of narration. This is based on what has been mentioned previously and Allah knows best.
[Machine] It is four thousand, and he disputed with Umar. He said, "I have lent Miqdad seven thousand dirhams." Miqdad said, "It is only four thousand." Miqdad insisted by swearing that it is seven thousand. Umar said, "Take what he has given you." And this narration is authentic, except that it is disconnected. It is in accordance with what we have narrated from Umar regarding division, where one of them confirms his companion in what they agreed upon in Umar's opinion regarding rejecting the oath of the plaintiff. And in this report, there is an addition to the opinion of Uthman and Miqdad. And Allah knows best.

[Machine] "He said, the oath is with the witness, and if he does not have evidence, then the oath is upon the accused, if he has associated with him. And if he refuses, the accuser must take an oath."
66.39 [Machine] Group of People Whose Testimony is Valid, and Those Whose Testimony is Not Valid Among Free Adult Rational Muslims. Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "None of the people we know should be someone who lacks modesty and integrity, to the point where they mix it with disobedience and abandon modesty, nor should they lack disobedience and abandon modesty to the point where they mix it with anything from obedience and modesty." The Scholar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "He is just as Imam Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said.
When the Verse:-- 'Those who believe and mix not their belief with wrong." was revealed, the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, "Who amongst us has not mixed his belief with wrong?" Then Allah revealed: "Join none in worship with Allah, Verily joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3428)
When the Verse:--'Those who believe and did not confuse their belief with wrong (worshipping others besides Allah).' (6.82) was revealed, it was hard on the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and they said, "Who among us has not wronged (oppressed) himself?" Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The meaning of the Verse is not as you think, but it is as Luqman said to his son, 'O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah, Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed.'" (31.13) (Using translation from Bukhārī 6937)
from Ibn 'Abbas (regarding this Ayah): Those who avoid great sins and Al-Fawahish except Al-Lamam (minor sins) (53:32). He said: "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Your forgiveness, O Allah is so ample, and which of Your worshipers has not committed Al-Lamam (minor sins)!'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3284)
[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, if You forgive, then forgive a great number. And what can any servant of Yours do to harm You?" And the meaning of it is
from Ibn 'Abbas (regarding this Ayah): Those who avoid great sins and Al-Fawahish except Al-Lamam (minor sins) (53:32). He said: "The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Your forgiveness, O Allah is so ample, and which of Your worshipers has not committed Al-Lamam (minor sins)!'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3284)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has written upon the son of Adam his share of adultery which he will inevitably commit. The adultery of the eyes is looking, the adultery of the tongue is speaking, and the soul desires and wishes, and the private part confirms or denies it."
[Machine] "Allah, ﷺ , said: Every servant has surely erred or been inclined towards a sin except Yahya bin Zakariya, for he did not commit any mistakes nor was he inclined towards any sin. Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz informed us, who narrated from Abu Bakr Ahmad bin Ishaq, who narrated from Muhammad bin Ghaleb, who narrated from Affan and Abu Salama, who said they were informed by Hammad bin Salama, who heard from Habib bin Ash-Shahid and Yunus bin Ubaid and Humaid, who narrated from Al-Hasan, who narrated from the Prophet, ﷺ , and Ali bin Zaid, who narrated from Yusuf bin Mihran, who narrated from Ibn Abbas, who narrated from the Prophet, ﷺ , who said: There is no human being, if his matter is mentioned, except that Ash-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: If the majority in a man's affair is obedience and nobility, then his testimony is accepted. But if the majority in his affair is disobedience and contradicts nobility, then his testimony is rejected. The Sheikh said: The explanation of this is what was informed to us by Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz. He said: I heard Abu Al-Walid al-Faqih say: I heard Abu Al-Abbas bin Suraij saying: He was asked about the description of justice, so he said: It is to be a free Muslim, of age, sane, not committing major sins nor insisting on committing minor ones, and not neglecting the common sense of nobility. The Sheikh said: As for the evidence in the conditions of Islam, freedom, adulthood, and sanity, that has already passed."

[Machine] Anas was asked about the major sins, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Associating partners with Allah, disobedience to parents, killing a soul, bearing false witness." He also said: "And speaking falsehood." They both reported this in Sahih (authentic) from the hadith of Shu'bah.
[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage, and I heard him say, "Verily, the allies of Allah are those who pray, and whoever completes the obligatory prayers sincerely for Allah, pays the obligatory Zakat, fasts in Ramadan, and avoids major sins." A man then asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, what are the major sins?" He replied, "The major sins are nine, the greatest of which are associating partners with Allah, killing a believer, consuming usury, consuming the property of orphans, slandering chaste women, fleeing from the battlefield, disobeying parents, practicing sorcery, and making permissible what Allah has forbidden, such as entering the Sacred House while in a state of major impurity. Whoever meets Allah without having committed any of these sins with him, he will enter Paradise, the gates of which are made of gold."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The adulterer does not commit adultery while he is a believer, the drinker of alcohol does not drink it while he is a believer, the thief does not steal while he is a believer, the robber does not loot [and] raise people's gaze towards him while he is a believer. This hadith is narrated by Abu Qil, who narrates from Ibn Shihab, who narrates from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, who narrate from Abu Hurairah, who narrates from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, in a similar manner to the hadith of Abu Bakr, except for the looting.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue or his hands. And a Muhajir (an emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6484)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "A Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands other Muslims are safe."
[Machine] I witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no Muslim who attends a prescribed prayer and performs its ablution, bowing, and prostration well, except that it will be an expiation for what has passed of sins, as long as they were not major sins, and this applies for their entire lifetime."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The five daily prayers and Friday prayer to the next Friday are expiations for what is between them as long as major sins are avoided."
Verily the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhan to Ramadhan are expiations for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins. (Using translation from Muslim 233c)
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ that he sat on the pulpit and said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, three times." Then he remained silent, and tears flowed from the eyes of all of us in sadness for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his right. Then he said, "There is no servant who performs the five prayers, fasts during Ramadan, and avoids the seven major sins, except that the gates of Paradise will be opened for him on the Day of Judgment, to the point that they will be clapping. Then he recited, 'If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins.' In these narrations and others that emphasize the severity of the major sins and the expiation of the minor sins, it confirms the statement of those who differentiate between them in the rejection of the testimony of the one who commits a major sin without committing a minor sin. And from the narrations that indicate that when the minor sins become numerous, they reach the level of the one who commits a major sin in rejecting his testimony and the like."
[Machine] Indeed, you used to perform deeds that were more important in your eyes than hair, even though we used to consider them (i.e., such deeds) as destructive acts during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Beware of trivial sins, for they gather upon a person until they destroy him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave an example for them, like a group of people who came to a valley and each of them brought a stick or a twig until they collected a large pile. Then, they lit a fire and what they had thrown into it became fully cooked.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, when a believer commits a sin, there is a black spot in his heart. If he repents, removes it, and seeks forgiveness, his heart is polished. But if he returns to sin, it increases until his heart is sealed with it. This is what Allah mentioned in His book, 'No! Rather, the stain has covered their hearts of that which they were earning' [Al-Mutaffifin 14]." The scholar mentioned that these narrations, along with those similar to them, serve as a warning and a reminder for those who persist in committing sins without seeking forgiveness and neglecting to repent from them.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If a servant commits a sin and then says, 'O Lord, I have committed a sin, so forgive me,' his Lord says, 'My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them, so I forgive him.' Then he remains for as long as Allah wills, and then commits another sin. It is possible that he may say, 'I have committed another sin.' He says, 'O Lord, I have committed another sin, so forgive me.' His Lord says, 'My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them, so I forgive him.' Then he remains for as long as Allah wills, and then commits another sin. It is possible that he may say, 'I have committed another sin.' He says, 'O Lord, I have committed another sin, so forgive me.' His Lord says, 'My servant knows that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them, so I forgive him.' His Lord says, 'I have forgiven My servant, so let him do whatever he wishes.'"
The Prophet ﷺ said: He who asks pardon is not a confirmed sinner, even if he returns to his sin seventy times a day. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1514)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah extends His hand during the night so that the sinners of the day may repent, and He extends His hand during the day so that the sinners of the night may repent, until the sun rises from its setting."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His believing servant than a man who lost his camel in a barren land, and with it was his food and drink. He then lay down and slept, and when he woke up he found that his camel had disappeared. He searched for it until he became exhausted and thirsty. He said, 'By Allah, I will go back and die where I was before.' So he went back and slept. When he woke up, he found his camel beside him, along with his food and drink. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Verily, the believer sees his sins as if he were sitting at the foot of a mountain fearing that it may fall upon him, while the wicked person considers his sins like a fly that passes by his nose and says to it: Get away. Then he orders it by his hand to move away.'"

[Machine] I was walking with the Prophet ﷺ in the outskirts of the city at night when we came across a trench. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Abu Dharr, I do not want that this trench be made of gold and a night comes upon me possessing only a dinar that I am not free from debt except that I would say to it in the servants of Allah, 'This way and that way,' and he pointed with his hand. Then he said, 'O Abu Dharr, I said, 'Labbayka' (at your service) and 'Saddayk' (I obey and agree with you), O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Indeed, the majority of the people are those who have the least (in terms of faith and piety), except for those who say this way and that way and this way.' Then he said to me, 'Stay where you are, O Abu Dharr, until I return to you.' He then left until he was out of my sight, and I heard a sound, so I feared that it might be a danger for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I intended to go to him, but then I remembered his statement, 'Do not move from here,' so I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I heard a sound and I feared that it might be a danger for you.' Then I remembered your statement, so I stayed there.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'That was Jibril who came to me and informed me that whoever dies from my Ummah without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, even if he commits adultery or theft?' He said, 'Even if he commits adultery or theft.'"

I know the last of the inhabitants of Paradise to enter it and the last of the inhabitants of Hell to come out of it. He is a man who would be brought on the Day of Resurrection and it will be said: Present his minor sins to him, and withhold from him his serious sins. Then the minor sins would be placed before him, and it would be said: On such and such a day you did so and so and on such and such a day you did so and so. He would say: Yes. It will not be possible for him to deny, while he would be afraid lest serious sins should be presented before him. It would be said to him: In place of every evil deed you will have a good deed. He will say: My Lord! I have done things I do not see here. I indeed saw the Messenger of Allah laugh till his front teeth were exposed. (Using translation from Muslim 190a)

Every prophet hurries to make their supplication, but I have kept my supplication as intercession for my nation until the Day of Resurrection, and it will be granted, if Allah wills, to whoever from my nation dies without associating anything with Allah." He said: Then they will be thrown into a river called the River of Life, and they will grow in it as a seed grows in the silt of a flood. [Machine] I have never seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ striking a servant nor hitting anything with his hand except when he was striving in the cause of Allah. He never sought revenge for himself, unless there was a violation against the sanctity of Allah. When it was for the sake of Allah, He would take revenge on his behalf. He did not react to any matter except by choosing the easiest option, as long as it did not involve any sin. And when it became sinful, he stayed away from it more than anyone else.
[Machine] I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughing to the extent that I could see his molars. He would only smile.
"When the Prophet ﷺ would receive a man to shake hands with him,he would not remove his hand until he [the man]removed his, and he would not turn his face away from his face until the man turned and he would not be seen advancing his knees before one sitting with him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2490)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was not obscene, vulgar, or someone who would use curse words. He would say to one of us, when at the washroom, "What is wrong with his forehead?"
[Machine] He told me that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, those who curse will not be intercessors or witnesses on the Day of Resurrection."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not appropriate for a truthful person to be foul-mouthed."
