66.67 [Machine] Who allowed dancing if it does not involve breaking and cross-dressing

٦٦۔٦٧ بَابُ: مَنْ رَخَّصَ فِي الرَّقْصِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ تَكَسُّرٌ وَتَخَنُّثٌ

bayhaqi:21027Abū al-Ḥusayn Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. Khushaysh al-Muqriʾ Bi-al-Kūfah > Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad b. ʿAlī b. Duḥaym al-Shaybānī > Aḥmad b. Ḥāzim b. Abū Gharazah > ʿUbaydullāh b. Mūsá > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > Hāniʾ b. Hāniʾ > ʿAlī

[Machine] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , myself, Ja'far, and Zaid. He said to Zaid, "You are our brother and freed slave." So he tied his waistcloth and said to Ja'far, "You resemble me in appearance and character." So he tied his waistcloth behind Zaid's waistcloth. Then he said to me, "You are from me and I am from you." So I tied my waistcloth behind Ja'far's waistcloth. Al-Shaykh, Hanit bin Hanit, said, "This is not commonly known or practiced, but if it is authentic, it indicates the permissibility of this practice. It involves lifting one leg and jumping with joy. And the dance performed based on this would be similar in permissibility, and Allah knows best."
