[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the most truthful statement ever spoken by poets is: 'Verily, everything without Allah is falsehood.' This is in the poem of al-Bahr al-Taweel. And in another narration by Ghandar on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ ."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I am not from those who play, and playing is not from me." Ali ibn al-Madinah asked Abu Ubaydah, the companion of the Arabic language, about this, and he said: "He says, 'I am not from falsehood, and falsehood is not from me.'" The Sheikh said, and Abu Ubaydah Qasim ibn Salam al-Dadd is play and amusement. It was also narrated from Amr from Muttalib from Muawiyah, and this was narrated in a hadith from Abu Zubair from Jabir.
[Machine] "And they were two festivals in which he used to play on the ground, and I saw him in another place on the tenth."
[Machine] I do not care if I played with the cable or washed with pig's blood and then I stood up to pray.
[Machine] And I heard Hammad once say, "He broke it on his head."
[Machine] Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Whoever plays with anything from this (i.e. Islamic rulings) regarding its permissibility, his testimony is not accepted." The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "This is due to the disagreement in it or in some of it."
[Machine] Regarding prayer, he kept delaying it until he missed it, then he would repeat it until he missed it. We reiterated his testimony about neglecting the prayer times.
Ibn Muhayriz said: A man from Banu Kinanah, named al-Makhdaji, heard a person called AbuMuhammad in Syria, saying: The witr is a duty (wajib). Al-Makhdaji said: So I went to Ubadah ibn as-Samit and informed him. Ubadah said: AbuMuhammad told a lie. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: There are five prayers which Allah has prescribed on His servants. If anyone offers them, not losing any of them, and not treating them lightly, Allah guarantees that He will admit him to Paradise. If anyone does not offer them, Allah does not take any responsibility for such a person. He may either punish him or admit him to Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1420)
