[Machine] Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Whoever plays with anything from this (i.e. Islamic rulings) regarding its permissibility, his testimony is not accepted." The Sheikh, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "This is due to the disagreement in it or in some of it."  

البيهقي:٢٠٩٧٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَعْرُوفِ الْفَقِيهُ الْإِسْفَرَايِينِيُّ بِهَا أنبأ أَبُو عَمْرٍو إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ نُجَيْدٍ أنبأ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَنْهَى بَنِيهِ عَنْ لَعِبِ الْأَرْبَعَ عَشَرَةَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ تَنْهَاهُمْ؟ قَالَ إِنَّهُمْ يَحْلِفُونَ وَيَكْذِبُونَ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا كَرِهَتْهَا قَالَ

الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَمَنْ لَعِبَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ هَذَا عَلَى الِاسْتِحْلَالِ لَهُ لَمْ تُرَدَّ شَهَادَتُهُ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَهَذَا لِلِاخْتِلَافِ فِيهِ أَوْ فِي بَعْضِهِ
