Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The true person must not be a curser."

الأدب المفرد:٣١٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِلصِّدِّيقِ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَعَّانًا

muslim:2597a – Hārūn b. Saʿīd al-Aylī > Ibn Wahb > Sulaymān Wahū Ibn Bilāl > al-ʿAlāʾ b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman from his father > Abū Hurayrah

It does not seem proper for a Siddiq that he should be an invoker of curse.
