ahmad:19095Yazīd b. Hārūn > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr from his father from his grandfather ʿAlqamah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] So I said to him, "May Allah forgive you, you are the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and you have the status of being the first and the foremost. Why are you crying for a woman?" He lifted his head and said, "You are right, by my life, I should not cry for anyone after Sa'd ibn Mu'adh." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said to him something that I did not know about, so I asked him what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said to him. (Who was one of those who had given the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ beneath the Tree) When the people brought Sadaqa (i.e. rakʿat) to the Prophet ﷺ he used to say, "O Allah! Bless them with your Mercy." Once my father came with his Sadaqa to him whereupon he (i.e. the Prophet) said. "O Allah! Bless the family of Abu ʿAufa." (Using translation from Bukhārī 4166)

[Machine] A man came while we were standing in a row behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then he entered the row and said, "Allahu Akbar Kabiran (Allah is the Greatest in greatness)" and "Subhan Allah bukratan wa asilan (Glory be to Allah morning and evening)." The Muslims raised their heads and frowned at the man, and said, "Who is this person who raises his voice above the voice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, he said, "Who is the one with the loud voice?" They said, "It is him, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By Allah, I saw your words reaching the heavens until a door was opened and he entered through it."

I asked 'Abdullah b. Abu Aufa whether Messenger of Allah ﷺ had made any will (in regard to his property). He said: NO. I said: Then why has making of will been made necessary for the Muslims, or why were they commanded to make will? Thereupon he said: He made the will according to the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic. (Using translation from Muslim 1634a)

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I cannot memorize anything from the Quran, so teach me something that will suffice me." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Say, 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah), 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah), 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah), 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest), and 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power or strength except with Allah)." The man left or stood up or something like that. He said, "This is for Allah, so what about me?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Say, 'Allahumma ighfirli warhamni wa'afini wahdini warzuqni' (O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, protect me, guide me, and provide for me) or 'arzuqni wa'hdini wa'afini' (provide for me, guide me, and protect me)." Mas'arah narrated, "Perhaps I asked Abu Khalid about something like that."
