[Machine] So I said to him, "May Allah forgive you, you are the companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and you have the status of being the first and the foremost. Why are you crying for a woman?" He lifted his head and said, "You are right, by my life, I should not cry for anyone after Sa'd ibn Mu'adh." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said to him something that I did not know about, so I asked him what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said to him. He replied, "The Throne of Allah shook due to the death of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh." He also said, "And he used to walk between me and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."  

أحمد:١٩٠٩٥حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَدِمْنَا مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَتُلُقِّينَا بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَكَانَ غِلْمَانٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ تَلَقَّوْا أَهْلِيهِمْ فَلَقُوا أُسَيْدَ بْنَ حُضَيْرٍ فَنَعَوْا لَهُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَتَقَنَّعَ وَجَعَلَ يَبْكِي قَالَتْ

فَقُلْتُ لَهُ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ أَنْتَ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَكَ مِنَ السَّابِقَةِ وَالْقِدَمِ مَا لَكَ تَبْكِي عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ فَكَشَفَ عَنْ رَأْسِهِ وَقَالَ صَدَقْتِ لَعَمْرِي حَقِّي أَنْ لَا أَبْكِي عَلَى أَحَدٍ بَعْدَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ وَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا قَالَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَقَدْ اهْتَزَّ الْعَرْشُ لِوَفَاةِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ قَالَتْ وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

He then uncovered his head and said, "You are right, by the oath of Allah. I have the right not to cry for anyone after the death of Saad bin Muadh, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stated something that no one else has ever said. She asked him, "And what did he say?" He replied, "He said, 'The Throne of Allah shook at the death of Saad bin Muadh.'" She said, "And he (Saad bin Muadh) used to walk between me and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

Then he uncovered his head and said, "You spoke the truth, by the oath of Allah. I swear, I will not cry over anyone after Saad ibn Muadh." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said something that no one else had said. So I asked him, "What did he say?" He replied, "Indeed, the Throne has shaken because of the death of Saad ibn Muadh." Aisha said, "O Usaid ibn Hudayr, it is correct on the terms of a Muslim condition that he did not lie." Adh-Dhahabi deleted it from his summarized version due to its weakness.

" عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَدِمْنَا مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ فَتَلَقَّيْنَا بِذِى الْحُلَيْفَةَ، وَكَان غلمَانُ الأنْصَارِ يتَلَقوْن أَهْلِيهِمْ، فَلَقَوْا أُسَيْدَ بْنَ حُضَيْرٍ فَنَعَوْا لَهُ امْرَأَتَهُ فَتَقَنَّعَ وَجَعَلَ يَبْكِى فَقُلْتُ: غَفَرَ الله لَكَ، أنْتَ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ وَلَكَ مِنَ السَّابِقَةِ وَالْقِدَمِ مَالَكَ، وَأنْتَ تَبْكِى عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ! قَالَتْ: فَكَشَفَ رَأسَهُ وَقَالَ: صَدَقْت لَعَمْرِي لَيَحقُّ عَلَىَّ أَنْ لاَ أَبكىَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ بَعْدَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذ، وَقَدْ قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ مَا قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَمَا قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: قَالَ: لَقَدِ اهْتَزَّ الْعَرْشُ لوَفَاةِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ: وَهُوَ يَسِيرُ بَيْنِى وبَيْنَ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ".
