[Machine] I heard my grandfather Ubaydah ibn Amr al-Kalbi saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing ablution and he performed it thoroughly."
6.204 [Machine] Uncle Talha Al-Ayami
[Machine] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping his head until reaching the nape of the neck, including what comes before it, with one wipe.
6.205 [Machine] Al-Harith ibn Hassan Al-Bakri
[Machine] We arrived at the city, and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on the pulpit, and Bilal stood in front of him, holding a sword that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was also holding. Then I saw a few black flags, so I asked, "What are these flags?" They replied, "Amr ibn al-Aas has returned from a battle."
[Machine] "I passed by an old woman wearing a torn robe from the Banu Tamim tribe. She asked, 'Where do you want to go?' I said, 'We want the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' She said, 'Carry me with you, for I have a need to see him.' So, I entered the mosque, and it was filled with people, and I saw a black flag waving. I asked, 'What is happening with the people today?' They said, 'This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who wants to send 'Amr ibn al-'As.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! If you see fit, make a truce between us and the Banu Tamim, for once we had a truce.' The old woman became stubborn and became angry. She said, 'O Messenger of Allah, where are you taking me?' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I brought her (the old woman), and I do not feel that she is a burden to me.' He said, 'I seek refuge with Allah that I ever become as the people who said before.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What did the people before say?' He said, 'They called him an imbecile.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Hush! He can understand what is said to him.' It was said (by the people), 'The army of 'Ad has arrived.' So, he spent a month with Mu'awiyah bin Bakr, giving him wine and entertaining him with locusts. Then, he set out until he came to the mountains of Muhrat. He said, 'O Allah! I did not come to enslave a slave, nor did I come to treat a sick person. But water Your slave what you used to water him with.' So, give Mu'awiyah bin Bakr to drink wine for a month as appreciation for the wine that he drank in his presence.' Abu Wa'il said, 'I was told that what was sent upon them (the people of 'Ad) from the wind was as much as the water that flows in a ring.'"

[Machine] I went to complain to Alaa ibn Al-Hadrami about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I passed by Al-Rabadha and there was an old lady from the Banu Tamim sitting alone. She said to me, "O Abdullah, I have a need with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Can you convey it to him?" I agreed and carried her on my camel and we arrived at Al-Madinah. When we reached the mosque, it was filled with its people and there was a black flag flapping with a proud horseman holding a sword in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I asked, "What's happening with the people?" They replied, "They want to appoint Amr ibn Al-Aas as their leader." So I sat down. Then he (the Messenger of Allah) entered his house or his tent, and I sought permission to enter. He allowed me to come in, so I entered and greeted him. He asked, "Did you have any dealings with the Banu Tamim?" I replied, "Yes." He said, "They owed us some debts and I passed by an old lady from the Banu Tamim who asked me to convey this to you." Then, she entered and I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "If you find it appropriate, create a separation between us and the Banu Tamim." So he requested for a pot of dehn oil, which was smeared on her and she became calm and excited. She asked, "O Messenger of Allah, where will you send Mu'adh?" He replied, "I said, 'I am to them like the Mazi (a type of she-camel) is to the A'd. He replied, 'Indeed, the Mazi died due to carrying loads, and I am to carry this load. But I don't feel that it has been a burden on me. I seek refuge with Allah and His Messenger from being like the feathers of 'Ad.' He asked, 'What is a feather of 'Ad?' He knew the answer better than anyone else, but he wanted to narrate so I replied, 'The 'Ad endured famine, so they sent for a wafid (a person who delivers messages on behalf of others) and they called him Qayl (previously asked). He passed by Mu'awiya ibn Bakr's tent and stayed with him for a month, giving him alcohol to drink and being entertained by two servant girls called al-Jaradatan. When the month was over, he left for the mountains of Tihamah and called out to Allah, "O Allah, You know that I didn't come to cure the sick nor free captives, so let the rains fall on 'Ad as You make them drink, and don't leave a single one of them alive." Then, thick black clouds passed over them and called out, "Take it (rain) from this side and take it from the black part." So he pointed to one of the black clouds and said, "Take it from this one, gray ash". And he said, "Let there not be a single person among the 'Ad." Abu Wa'il said: It was conveyed to me that when the wind was sent against them, it didn't stop until they were annihilated. Then Abu Wa'il said, "The man and the woman, when they send a wafid (messenger) to them, they should not be like the wafid of 'Ad."

6.206 [Machine] Abu Tamimah Al-Hajimi, about the Prophet ﷺ
[Machine] I met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in some of the streets of Medina, and he was wearing a worn-out garment with a fringed edge. I greeted him, saying, "Peace be upon you, Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Upon you be peace, the greeting of the dead. Upon you be peace, the greeting of the dead. Upon you be peace, the greeting of the dead. Peace be upon you. Peace be upon you, twice or thrice." He said, "I asked about the Izar (garment). I said, 'Where do you get your Izar from?' He pointed to his back, indicating the bones of his legs, and said, 'Here, at the top.' If you prefer, there is a place below this, and if you prefer, it could be above the ankles. But Allah does not like arrogance or vanity.' He said, 'I also asked him about doing good. He said, 'Do not consider any good deed insignificant, even if it is just giving a sip of water from your bucket to someone who seeks it or removing something harmful from the road that may harm people or greeting your brother with a cheerful face or meeting him with a smiling face. Even if someone insults you with something he knows about you, and you also know about it, do not insult him back. Instead, your reward will be with Allah and his sin will be upon him. If you hear something that you do not like, avoid it."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until earthquakes occur among tribes, and it will be said, 'Who is left from the descendants of so-and-so?' So, I knew when he mentioned 'tribes' that he was referring to the Arabs, because the non-Arabs are attributed to their villages."

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'the Shaitan sits in the paths of the son of Adam. He sits waiting for him, in the path to Islam, and he says: Will you accept Islam, and leave your religion, and the religion of your forefathers? But he disobeys him and accepts Islam. Then he sits waiting for him, on the path to emigration, and he says: Will you emigrate and leave behind your land and sky? The one who emigrates is like a horse tethered to a peg. But he disobeys him and emigrates. Then he sits, waiting for him, on the path to Jihad, and he says: Will you fight in Jihad when it will cost you your life and your wealth? You will fight and be killed, and your wife will remarry, and your wealth will be divided. But he disobeys him and fights in Jihad.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever does that, then he had a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to paradise. Whoever is killed, he has a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to Paradise. If he is drowned, he has a right from Allah that He will admit him to paradise, or whoever is thrown by his mount and his neck is broken, he had a right from Allah that he will admit him to Paradise.'" [Machine] "I went out with Ali to Yemen and the journey became difficult for me until I found it overwhelming. When I arrived, I expressed my complaint in the mosque until it reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I entered the mosque one morning and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with some of his companions. When he saw me, he fixed his eyes on me and said, 'Alas, O Amr, you have indeed hurt me!' I said, 'I seek refuge in Allah from hurting you, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Yes, whoever hurts Ali, has indeed hurt me.'"

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him for something. He ordered a dish for me, then said to me, "When you return to your house, instruct your family members to prepare a good dinner for their guests. Also, tell them to trim their nails so that they do not harm the udders of the animals when milking them."
6.212 [Machine] Hind Bint Asmaa, and Hind was from the companions of Al-Hudaybiyah Al-Aslami.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to my people, who had embraced Islam. He said, "Command your people to fast on the day of Ashura. Whoever among them has eaten something on the first part of the day, let them then fast for the rest of it."
[Machine] Narrated by Yahya ibn Hind ibn Haritha, Hind was one of the companions of Al-Hudaybiyah and his brother whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to instruct his people to observe the fast of Ashura was Asma ibn Haritha. So Yahya ibn Hind narrated from Asma ibn Haritha that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him and said, "Command your people to fast this day." Asma asked, "What if I find them eating?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Let them complete their fast until the end of their day."

[Machine] He (the person) said, "O Messenger of Allah, give me a word and make it concise for me, so that I may comprehend it." He (the Prophet) said, "Do not get angry." He repeated this advice to him multiple times, saying, "Do not get angry." Yahya said, Hisham narrated to me, I said, "O Messenger of Allah," while they (the people) were saying, "The Prophet did not understand."

6.214 [Machine] Dhul-Jawshan: About the Prophet ﷺ
[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ after he had finished from the people of Badr, with the son of Furass for me. So I said, "O Muhammad, I have come to you with the son of Al-Qarha to take him as a prisoner." He said, "I have no need for him, but if you want, I will give you some of the chosen armor from the spoils of Badr." So I said, "I would not have come to capture you today with a sudden attack." He said, "I have no need for him." Then he said, "O Bilal, take the bag of provisions and give him some dates." When I turned away, he said, "Indeed, he is from the best of Banu Amir." He said, "By Allah, I will undoubtedly surprise my family when I return. A rider approached and I asked him, 'From where are you?' He said, 'From Makkah.' So I asked, 'What is the situation with the people?' He said, 'They were defeated by Muhammad ﷺ.' I said, 'My mother has made me lose my mind. By Allah, if I were to embrace Islam today and then ask her for advice, she would surely cut my throat.'"

6.215 [Machine] My father, Ubeid, about the Prophet.
[Machine] "He cooked a meat dish for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in which there was a pot, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Serve me the arm of the sheep.' So he served it to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, 'Serve me the arm of the sheep.' So he served it to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, 'Serve me the arm of the sheep.' So he said, 'O Prophet of Allah, how many arms does a sheep have?'. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, if you had remained silent, you would have been given a (living) arm the same size as what you have asked for.'"

[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying on a camel towards Sham."
[Machine] "I was riding behind my father when I saw the Prophet ﷺ on a camel, and he was saying 'Labbaik (Here I am), responding to both the Hajj and Umrah.'"
6.217 [Machine] Al-Harith ibn 'Amr
[Machine] He met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Farewell Pilgrimage, so I said, "By my father, are you the Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes, I am." I then said, "Seek forgiveness for me." He said, "May Allah forgive you." He was riding on his she-camel called Al-Adhba. I turned towards him from the other side and hoped that he would focus on me instead of the others, so I said, "Seek forgiveness for me." He said, "May Allah forgive you." A man then said, "O Messenger of Allah, the Farā’idh (prescribed legislative laws pertaining to inheritance with fixed shares) and the Arā’is (obligatory bequests)?" He said, "Whoever wishes can abide by them and whoever does not want them, is not forced to do so. And whoever wants can practice 'Atir (i.e., giving more than what is prescribed in the distribution of inheritance) and whoever does not want, is not forced to do so." Then he said, "Certainly, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you until you meet your Lord on this day of yours, in this city of yours."

6.218 [Machine] Sahil bin Hanif
I felt greatly distressed by the frequent flowing of prostatic fluid. For this reason I used to take a bath very often. I asked the apostle of Allah ﷺ about this. He replied: Ablution will be sufficient for you because of this. I asked: Messenger of Allah, what should I do if it smears my clothes. He replied: It is sufficient if you take a handful of water and sprinkle it on your clothe when you find it has smeared it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 210)
[Machine] "To return his matter we will respond to him, I swear to God, we have never removed our swords from our shoulders since we surrendered to a command that intimidates us, except for what is easier for us to a matter that we know, and the only matter we have not defeated an opponent, except that another opponent opens to us."
[Machine] I went to Abu Wa'il in his family's mosque and asked him about the people who Ali killed at Nahrawan and their response to him, as well as what caused their departure from him and what led to their fighting. He said, "We were in Siffin, and when the killing intensified among the people of Sham, they sought refuge at a hill. Amr ibn al-'As said to Muawiyah, 'Send to Ali a Mus'haf (copy) of the Quran and invite him to the Book of Allah, for he will not refuse you.' So a man brought it to him, and he said, 'Between you and us is the Book of Allah: Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture being called to the Book of Allah to settle their disputes, and then a faction of them turns away while they are refusing [to accept it]?' [Quran 3:23]. Ali said, 'Yes, I am more deserving of this than you.' Then the Khwarazmians (referring to the Kharijites) came while we were calling them on that day as the Qurra' (reciters) and with their swords on their shoulders, and they said, 'O Amir al-Mu'minin, what are we waiting for with these people on the hill? Should we not go to them with our swords until Allah judges between us and them?' Sahl ibn Hunayf spoke and said, 'O people, accuse yourselves! We were present on the Day of Hudaybiyah, which refers to the peace treaty between the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the polytheists of Mecca. If we saw fighting, we would have fought. Then Umar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, are we not upon the truth while they are upon falsehood? Aren't our killings for Paradise and their killings for Hellfire?' He said, 'Yes.' Umar said, 'Then why should we give them the worldly life in exchange for our religion until Allah judges between us and them?' He said, 'O Ibn al-Khattab, I am the Messenger of Allah, and Allah will never cause me to be wronged.' Umar returned and was angry and could not contain himself until he came to Abu Bakr and said, 'O Abu Bakr, are we not upon the truth while they are upon falsehood? Aren't our killings for Paradise and their killings for Hellfire?' He said, 'Yes.' Umar said, 'Then why should we give them the worldly life in exchange for our religion until Allah judges between us and them?' He said, 'O Ibn al-Khattab, he is the Messenger of Allah, and Allah will never cause him to be wronged.' Then Surah al-Fath (The Victory) was revealed." Abu Bakr said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Umar and I recited it to him." He said, "O Messenger of Allah, is it actually victory?" He said, "Yes."

He said: Ask AbuThabit to seek refuge in Allah from that I asked: O my Lord, will the spell be useful? He replied: No, the spell is to be used except for the evil eye or a snake bite or a scorpion sting. Abu Dawud said: Humah means the biting of snakes and sting of the poisonous insects. He replied: 'Because it contains images on it, and the Prophet ﷺ said about them what you know.' Sahl said: 'Do he not say: Except for markings on a garment?' He said: 'Yes, but this is better to me.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1750)

He looked at Sahil and said, "I have never seen today a better physique or prettier skin hidden." Sahil felt shy, so he covered himself. He went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and it was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, do you have any description of Sahil?" By Allah, he did not raise his head or open his eyes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Are you accusing him?" They replied, "Aamir ibn Rabi'ah looked at him." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Aamir and became angry with him, saying, "Why should one of you kill his brother? Couldn't you have blessed him when you saw something you liked?" Then he said to him, "Bathe for him." So Aamir washed his face, hands, forearms, knees, and the ends of his feet, and poured water inside his izar (clothing) into a container. Then the water was poured on him by a man, pouring it over his head and back from behind, holding the container behind him. Sahil practiced this, and then he continued with the people without any harm.

[Machine] "And (he) was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , who said, 'I came to Medina without having any knowledge about it, so I stayed in Suffah with a man. Between me and him, there was a mound of dates every day. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prayed one day and when he finished, a man from the people of Suffah said, 'O Messenger of Allah, our stomachs are burning from the dates and our garments have torn apart.' So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , climbed up and delivered a sermon. He said, 'By Allah, if I had found bread or meat, I would have fed it to you. Indeed, you are about to overtake those who are above you and whoever among you reaches that point will be urged to dismiss and wear similar clothes to the covers of the Kaaba.' He said, 'So I stayed with my companion for eighteen days and nights. We had no food except bark until we came to our brothers from the Ansar who helped us. And the best thing that reached us was this dates.'"

They passed by a woman who had been killed from what had afflicted the front line. They stopped and looked at her, amazed by her appearance, until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with them on his mount. They moved away from her, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood over her and said, 'This woman was not meant to fight.' He said to one of them, 'Speak the truth, O Khalid, and say to him [referring to Khalid], "Do not kill offspring or a suckling child."

6.224 [Machine] My father is Mawhiba, the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Muwaihibah, a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was commanded to pray upon the people of Al-Baqi. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed upon them three times in one night. When the second night came, he said: "O Abu Muwaihibah, saddle my camel for me." He said: "So I saddled it for him, and he rode until he reached them. Then he dismounted from his camel, and his camel kneeled, and he stood over them (the graves)." Or he said: "He stood among them (the graves), and he said: "May you be blessed with what you are in, which is greater than what the people are in. Fitan (trials) will come like chunks of a dark night. One chunk after another. The later one will destroy the earlier one. May you be blessed with what you are in." Then he returned and said: "O Abu Muwaihibah, I have been given the keys to everything that will come after me, and the Paradise, or the meeting with my Lord. So I said: "By my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah, inform us." He said: "You will certainly catch up to them as Allah wills." So I chose the meeting with my Lord. And after that, he did not live except for seven or eight more nights until he died. Abu An-Nadr said: "Once he turned around to look back."

[Machine] Narrated Abu Muwayhibah, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me in the middle of the night and said, "O Abu Muwayhibah, indeed I have been commanded to seek forgiveness for the people of al-Baqi'ah. So come with me." So I went with him. When he stood amongst them, he said, "Peace be upon you, O dwellers of the graves. May what you have been blessed with in the morning be better than what the people have been blessed with in the morning. If only you knew what Allah has saved you from, then trials and tribulations would have started appearing to you like a piece of the darkest night, one following another. The last (of these trials and tribulations) is worse than the first." Then he (the Prophet) turned to me and said, "O Abu Muwayhibah, indeed I have been given the keys to the treasures of this world and the Hereafter, and I have been given the choice between them and meeting my Lord. So I said, 'By my father and mother, take the keys to the treasures of this world and the Hereafter, then Paradise.' He said, 'No, by Allah, O Abu Muwayhibah, I have chosen to meet my Lord and Paradise.' Then he sought forgiveness for the people of al-Baqi'ah, and then he left. The pain in which Allah caused him to pass away in when morning came was excruciating for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited Ubada ibn As-Samit, who was sick, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you know who among my Ummah (nation) is considered a martyr?" The people remained silent, so Ubada said, "Support me." They supported him and he said, "O Messenger of Allah, a person who is patient and anticipates reward from Allah, dies due to plague, drowns, or is killed unjustly, will be considered a martyr." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the martyrs of my Ummah are few in number. Death in the cause of Allah is martyrdom, as well as death due to plague, drowning, or stomach diseases. A woman who dies in childbirth with her child will also be considered a martyr." Abu Al-Awwam added, "The one who is killed in defense of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa or in a fire is also a martyr."
