6.13 [Machine] Jadd Ismail ibn Umayyah

٦۔١٣ حديث جد إسماعيل بن أمية

ahmad:15402ʿAbd al-Razzāq > ʿUmar b. Ḥawshab > Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah > Abīhiʿan Jaddih

[Machine] It is said that his name was Tahman or Zakwan, so his grandfather set him free by freeing half of him, so the servant came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "In your freedom, you shall free in return, and in your slavery, they shall be enslaved." He was serving his master until he died.  

أحمد:١٥٤٠٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ كَانَ لَهُمْ غُلَامٌ

يُقَالُ لَهُ طَهْمَانُ أَوْ ذَكْوَانُ فَأَعْتَقَ جَدُّهُ نِصْفَهُ فَجَاءَ الْعَبْدُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ تُعْتَقُ فِي عِتْقِكَ وَتُرَقُّ فِي رِقِّكَ قَالَ وَكَانَ يَخْدِمُ سَيِّدَهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ
