[Machine] We arrived at the city, and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on the pulpit, and Bilal stood in front of him, holding a sword that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was also holding. Then I saw a few black flags, so I asked, "What are these flags?" They replied, "Amr ibn al-Aas has returned from a battle."  

أحمد:١٥٩٥٢حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ الْبَكْرِيِّ قَالَ

قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلَالٌ قَائِمٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مُتَقَلِّدٌ السَّيْفَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَإِذَا رَايَاتٌ سُودٌ وَسَأَلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ الرَّايَاتُ؟ فَقَالُوا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدِمَ مِنْ غَزَاةٍ
