Jabir b. 'Abdullah related that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and he related like this.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Samura b. Jundub.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ هَذَا

My nephew, leave him for he defended Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2487a)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), so he mentioned it in a similar way.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ

[AI] When the Messenger of Allah commanded the use of bells, he mentioned something similar.

لَمَّا أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالنَّاقُوسِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "From Abu Dharr, towards him."

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ نَحْوَهُ

"I came to the Messenger of Allah" and he mentioned something similar. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4176)

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

(Another chain) from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a similar report. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 568)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he mentioned something similar.

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

"When the son of Adam wakes up in the morning, all of his body parts bow to the tongue and say: 'Fear Allah regarding us, we are only part of you. If you are straight we are straight and if you are crooked we are crooked." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2407)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said about a matter that was brought to him between Abu Bakr and Umar, and he mentioned something similar to it.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَتَاهُ بَيْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned him.

عَنِ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَهُ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] We met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the hadith.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned the narration.

أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] From Amr ibn Wahb, he said: "He mentioned something similar to it."

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ وَهْبٍ يَعْنِي فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So he mentioned its likeness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] "About the Prophet ﷺ , he mentioned the narration."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا بِلَالُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said and mentioned something similar.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned his likeness.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] It means: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be guarded by his companions, so he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَحْرُسُهُ أَصْحَابُهُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a speech and mentioned its meaning to us.

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] About his father, so he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ أَبِيهِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

أَنَّهُ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

[AI] About Ibn Ka'b, he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say. . . He then mentioned the tradition to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4492)

أتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ… فَذَكَرَ مَعْناهُ

[AI] About Aisha, he mentioned something similar to it.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he mentioned something similar to it."

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] "He (Malik) asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , how does revelation come to you, so he mentioned something similar to what Malik said."

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ يَأْتِيكَ الْوَحْيُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوًا مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and mentioned something similar."

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] "About his father, similar to it (or like it)."

عَنْ أَبِيهِ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us and mentioned us.

صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَهُ

The above mentioned tradition has also been transmitted in a similar manner by Ibn 'Abbas from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1491)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

The same as No. 290. from the Prophet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 1199b)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ

Abu Huraira reported a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2653a)
