أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِبِنَاءِ الْمَسَاجِدِ فِي الدُّورِ وَأَنْ تُنَظَّفَ وَتُطَيَّبَ  

ibnmajah:759 – Rizq Allāh b. Mūsá > Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq al-Ḥaḍramī > Zāʾidah b. Qudāmah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Messenger of Allah commanded that places of prayer be established in villages, and that they be purified and perfumed.
