ahmad:18062

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ bid farewell to Mudar and said, "So I went to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah has granted you victory and answered your prayers, but your people have perished. So pray to Allah for them.' But he turned away from me. So I said to him, 'O Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah has granted you victory and answered your prayers, but your people have perished. So pray to Allah for them.' He said, 'O Allah, send down upon us a rain that is abundant, refreshing, abundant, filling, beneficial, and not harmful.' It was not long before it rained, either on that Friday or around that time, as Shu'bah said in his supplication. I heard it from Habib bin Abi Thabit, from Salim, regarding seeking rain. And in the hadith of Habib or Amr, from Salim, he said, 'I came to you from a people who do not have crops, nor do they have sustenance for their herders.'"

[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Throw [arrows] those who possess the skill, those who have reached the enemy with an arrow that Allah has raised in rank." He said: "Abdul Rahman bin Abi Al-Nahham said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the rank?'" He ﷺ said: "It is not equal to your mother's womb, rather it is between two ranks, a hundred years."

ahmad:18064Yā Kaʿb b. Murrah

I said to Ka'b bin Murrah, tell us a Hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but be careful. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever frees a Muslim man, he will be his ransom from the Fire; each of his bones will suffice (as a ransom) for each of his bones. Whoever frees two Muslim women, they will be his ransom from the Fire; each of their two bones will suffice (as a ransom) for each of his bones.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2522)

ahmad:18065Yā Kaʿb b. Murrah

[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever throws an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is as if he has freed a slave."

ahmad:18066

[Machine] And he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, and a man came to him and said, "Pray to Allah for rain for Al-Mudar." He said, "Are you from Al-Mudar?" He said, "O Messenger of Allah, you sought the help of Allah, so He helped you, and you supplicated to Allah, so He answered you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said, "O Allah, give us abundant, widespread, sudden, beneficial rain, not harmful rain." He said, "So they were revived." He said, "They did not stay long before they came to him complaining about the excessiveness of the rain." They said, "The houses have collapsed." He raised his hands and said, "O Allah, around us, not upon us." He said, "So the cloud was split into right and left."

[Machine] If I had not heard something from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I would not have stood in this position. When he heard the mention of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he sat down the people and said, 'While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Uthman ibn Affan passed by, trembling. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Verily, a fitnah will emerge from beneath my feet or between my legs on this day, and whoever follows it will be guided.'" So, Ibn Hawalah Al-Azdi stood up from the minbar and said, 'Are you the companion of this?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'By Allah, I will be present in that council, and if I knew that I had a supporter in the army, I would be the first to speak it.'"

[Machine] If it weren't for a conversation I had heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I would not have stood up to hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention a calamity that will come close, and then a man passed by wearing fine clothes, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On that day, he and his companions will be upon the truth and guidance." So I said, "Is this so, O Messenger of Allah?" And I turned my face towards him, so he said, "Indeed, it is Uthman."

[Machine] I went with the Prophet (PBUH) on a pilgrimage. I saw him coming out of the restroom, so I followed him with a container or a jug. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH), when he wanted to relieve himself, used to go far away. I sat for him on the way until the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) finished. Then I said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, perform ablution." So the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) came towards me, poured water on his hand, washed it, then he put his hand back and washed it, then he wiped his head, then he cupped water in his hand, struck it on the back of his foot, wiped his foot with his hand, and then he came and performed the noon prayer for us.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , delivered a sermon to us in Mina while he was on his mount, which was braying with its nostrils and its saliva flowing between his shoulders. He said, "Verily, Allah has divided for every person his share of the inheritance, so it is not permissible for an heir to make a will in favor of someone else, nor for a disobedient person (who is deserving of stoning) to be thrown with stones. And whoever claims to belong to someone other than his father or turns away from his guardians out of desire for others, then upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people."

Ibn Ja'far said, and Sa'id said, "Matar narrated to them and said, 'No valid transfer or justice from him is accepted.'" Yazid said, "And in his narration, no transfer or justice is accepted from him, nor justice or transfer." My father said, "Yazid said in his narration, 'Indeed, Amr ibn Harithah informed them that the Prophet, ﷺ , delivered a sermon to them while on his mount.'"
