15. Chapter of Ṣād (Male) (2/19)
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Ensure for me six qualities, and I will guarantee Paradise for you." They asked, "And what are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Do not commit injustice when dividing your inheritances, treat people fairly as you would like to be treated, do not show cowardice in the face of your enemies, do not hoard your wealth at the expense of others, and prevent your oppressors from oppressing others."
[Machine] From Abu Umamah, I do not know except that he reported it to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Garlic, onions, and leeks are from the vilest of Satan's plants."
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a bond between Abu Darda and Salman."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the angels stand at the doors of the mosque on the day of Friday. They have with them scrolls in which they write the names of the people. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are rolled up." So, I asked, "Is there no reward for those who come after the Imam on Friday?" He replied, "Yes, but it is not the same as those written in the scrolls."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah created the mind, He said to it, 'Come forward,' so it came forward. Then He said to it, 'Go back,' so it went back. He said, 'By My Honor! I have not created any creation more amazing to Me than you. You will be given reward because of you, and punishment will be upon you.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ laughed and then said, "I wonder about people who are being dragged to Paradise in chains while they dislike it."
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, Allah has specified emancipation for every person upon breaking their fast."
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "For Allah, at every breaking of the fast, there are those who are freed from the Fire."
Messenger of Allah said: "There are three whose Salat would not rise up beyond their ears: The runaway slave until he returns, a woman who spends a night while her husband is angry with her, and a people's Imam whom they dislike." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 360)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Spitting in the mosque is a bad deed, but burying it is a good deed."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever takes a dump in the mosque and does not bury it, it is a bad deed. But if he buries it, it is a good deed."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Spitting in the mosque is a sin and it is expiated by burying the spittle. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 475)
[Machine] The translation of the passage in English is: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to speak three times so that his statement would be understood."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his wives, "Do not cry for this child," meaning Husain. He said, "It was the day of Umm Salamah. Jibril came down and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered [the house] and said to Umm Salamah, 'Do not let anyone enter upon me.' Then Husain came, and when he saw the Prophet ﷺ in the room, he wanted to enter, but Umm Salamah took hold of him, embraced him, and whispered to him, calming him down. When he started crying intensely, she let him go, and he entered until he sat in the lap of the Prophet ﷺ. Jibril said, 'Verily, your ummah will kill this son of yours.' The Prophet asked, 'Will they kill him while they are believers in me?' Jibril replied, 'Yes, they will kill him.' Then Jibril took some soil and said, 'This is his place,' and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left, embracing Husain, with a saddened and heavy heart. Umm Salamah thought that he was angry because the child had entered upon him, so she said, 'O Prophet of Allah, may I be your ransom! Indeed, you said to us, 'Do not cry for this child,' and you commanded me not to let anyone enter upon you. But he came and I let him go, and you did not answer her. The Prophet went out to his companions, who were sitting, and said to them, 'My ummah will kill this child.' Among the people were Abu Bakr and 'Umar, who were the boldest of the people. They said, 'O Prophet of Allah, will they kill him while they are believers?' He said, 'Yes, and this is his soil,' and he showed them the soil."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The Imam (leader) is a guarantor and the muadhin (caller to prayer) is trustworthy."
Messenger of Allah said: "There are three whose Salat would not rise up beyond their ears: The runaway slave until he returns, a woman who spends a night while her husband is angry with her, and a people's Imam whom they dislike." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 360)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah sent me to Bahila, so I went to them while they were having a meal. They welcomed me and honored me and said, "Come and eat." I said, "I came to prohibit you from this food, and I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah, I came to make you believe in him." So they denied me and insulted me, so I left while I was hungry and thirsty, and I had exerted a great effort. I slept and in my dream, I was given a drink of milk, so I drank and quenched my thirst, and my hunger was satisfied. The people said, "A man from your best and noblest has come to you, but you refused him. Go to him and feed him from what he desires, then bring me food." I said, "I have no need for your food and drink, for Allah has already fed me and quenched my thirst." So they looked at the state I was in and they believed in me and what I came with from the Messenger of Allah.
[Machine] To the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , a servant brought a gift and said to him, "In the house, there are three individuals. Choose one from among them." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ responded, "Take this young boy, for I have observed him praying since we left a while ago. Do not hit him, for we have been prohibited from striking those who pray."
“The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3650)
[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, 'Verily, the angels sit at the entrances of the mosques on the day of Friday, writing down the names of the people who come first, second, and third. When the Imam comes out, the records are lifted.'"
[Machine] "Narrated to us a hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , who said, 'The speech of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was like the Quran. He used to frequently remember Allah, shorten his speeches, prolong the prayers, and never refuse or show arrogance towards the needy or weak until he fulfilled their needs.'"
