[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking with the Bedouins. Abu Dawood said: Ghundar asked Ibn Abbas about this, and Abu Dawood said: My name is Abu Rihana Abdullah ibn Matar.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no 'aqar (pasture) in Islam". Abu Zakariya said, "Al-'aqar refers to the Bedouin Arabs when they gather at the watering hole. One of them competes against the other, and one of them causes his camel to drink the water while the other prevents his camel from drinking so as to deprive him (of water). They do this in disobedience to Allah and His Messenger." Abu Sulaiman al-Khattabi mentioned to me that what he had heard from Mu'aqarah al-A'rab is that two men compete with each other and each one argues with his companion. One of them deprives the other of a number of his camels' drinking water, and his companion also deprives him (of water). Whichever of the two has the most power in depriving the other, he is the one who wins. He disliked (the taste of) their meat, lest it becomes something they give preference to over Allah.

bayhaqi:19352Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Sulamī > Abū al-Ḥasan al-Kārizī > ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Abū ʿUbayd > ʿUmar b. Hārūn > Yūnus b. Yazīd al-Aylī > al-Zuhrī Yarfaʿ al-Ḥadīth > Nahá > Dhabāʾiḥ al-Jin > And ʾAmmā Dhabāʾiḥ al-Jin

[Machine] "To buy the house, extract the spring, and what is similar to that, and then sacrifice a bird for it," Abu Ubaid said, "and this interpretation in the hadith means that they seek protection through this action, fearing that if they do not sacrifice and feed, something harmful from the jinn will afflict them. So the Prophet ﷺ invalidated this practice and forbade it."
