I saw my father buying a slave whose profession was cupping, and ordered that his instruments (of cupping) be broken. I asked him the reason for doing so. He replied, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited taking money for blood, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a slave-girl by prostitution; he cursed her who tattoos and her who gets tattooed, the eater of Riba (usury), and the maker of pictures." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2238)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The earnings of a cupper (one who practices cupping) are impure, and the dowry of a woman who commits adultery is impure, and the price of a dog is impure."
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ who said: "The worst of earnings is the dowry of transgression, the price of a dog, and the earnings of a cupper."
[Machine] That Muhyissa asked the Prophet ﷺ about the income of the cupping practitioner, so he forbade him from it, but he continued talking to him until he said, "Feed your camel with your thin food and water it with your fresh water."
[Machine] Abu Al-Abbas narrated from Al-Rabi' that Al-Shafi'i narrated from Malik that he said: "And Abu Ahmad Al-Miharjani narrated to us from Abu Bakr ibn Ja'far Al-Muzakki, who narrated from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, who narrated from Ibn Bukayr, who narrated from Malik, who narrated from Ibn Shihab, who narrated from Ibn Muhaishah, one of the Bani Harithah, from his father that he sought permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to practice cupping, but he prohibited him from it. He continued to ask him until he said, 'Let him (the cupper) be a person who is skilled and gentle.'"
[Machine] He is called Nafi' and he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to ask him about his payment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him not to approach him, so he returned it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He said, "Make him suckle from it and put it in his stomach."
