61. Sacrificial Animals
[Machine] I bought a sheep for sacrifice and as I was leaving, a wolf took its leg. So, I asked the Prophet ﷺ and he said, sacrifice it. In another narration by Sufyan, we bought a ram for sacrifice and the wolf cut its leg or part of it, so I asked the Prophet ﷺ and he commanded me to sacrifice it, and this is the meaning.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no harm in offering a severed Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) and this is a summarized version of the first hadith."
[Machine] If it was damaged after you bought it, then return it. And if it was damaged before you bought it, then replace it.
