61. Sacrificial Animals

61.24 [Machine] The Sunnah in facing the Qibla with the sacrifice Al-Zuhri said, "If one is ignorant, there is no harm in eating after mentioning the name of Allah upon it." And we have been narrated in the Hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah that the Prophet ﷺ slaughtered two mature salted rams on the day of Eid. When he faced them, he said, "{I have turned my face firmly towards Him who created the heavens and the earth}" (Quran 6:79). He mentioned it, and that is reported. And in another narration: he faced them towards the Qibla at the time of slaughter.

[Machine] The passage in English is: "The narration was that he used to face the Qibla with his sacrifice, and a hadith was narrated in it from Ghālib al-Jazarī from 'Atā' from 'Ā'ishah, and its chain of transmission is weak."
