[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever gives a gift of a palm leaf or offers a palm leaf as charity or gives water to others or gives milk to others, then for him is the reward of freeing a slave or a breath of life. And whoever says 'There is no god but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise. And He is capable of all things,' ten times, for him is the reward of freeing a slave or a breath of life." He said: "And he used to come to us when we rose for prayer and would wipe our necks or chests. And he used to say: 'Do not differ, for your hearts will differ.' And he used to say: 'Indeed, Allah and His angels send prayers upon the first row or the rows."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever refers to the city as Yathrib should seek forgiveness from Allah for it is Madinah, it is Madinah."
[Machine] It means "The Prophet ﷺ used to pray Qunut in the morning and in the evening."
[Machine] The translation of the passage is as follows: "O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever You will of anything after it. The worthy of praise and glory are the people of praise. There is no preventer for what You have given, and no giver for what You have prevented. The one who is earnest is not benefited by seriousness from You." Al-Hakim said, "So I narrated that to Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Layla who said, 'Al-Bara ibn Azib narrated to me that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bow, and when he raised his head from bowing, and his prostration and what is in between the two prostrations were nearly equal in length.'"

"I heard 'Abdullah bin Yazid delivering a Khutbah. He said: 'Al-Bara, who was no liar, told us that when they prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would raise his head from bowing and they would remain standing until they saw him prostrate, then they would prostrate."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 829)
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his Companions came out to us and we entered Ihram for Hajj. When we came to Makkah, he said: ‘Make your Hajj (to) ‘Umrah.’ The people said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we have entered Ihram for Hajj, how can we make it ‘Umrah?’ He said: ‘Look at what I command you to do, and do it.’ They repeated their question and he got angry and went away. Then he entered upon ‘Aishah angry and she saw anger in his face, and said: ‘Who has made you angry? May Allah vex him!’ He said: ‘Why should I not get angry, when I give a command and it is not obeyed?’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2982)

[Machine] We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "Which garment of Islam is the most secure?" They said, "Prayer." He said, "Good, but what is there in it?" They said, "Charity." He said, "Good, but what is there in it?" They said, "Fasting in Ramadan." He said, "Good, but what is there in it?" They said, "Hajj." He said, "Good, but what is there in it?" They said, "Jihad." He said, "The most secure garment of faith is: to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah."
The people passed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a Jew who was blackened with charcoal and who was being flogged. He called them and said: Is this the prescribed punishment for a fornicator? They said: Yes. He then called on a learned man among them and asked him: I adjure you by Allah Who revealed the Torah to Moses, do you find this prescribed punishment for a fornicator in your divine Book? He said: By Allah, no. If you had not adjured me about this, I should not have informed you. We find stoning to be prescribed punishment for a fornicator in our Divine Book. But it (fornication) became frequent in our people of rank; so when we seized a person of rank, we left him alone, and when we seized a weak person, we inflicted the prescribed punishment on him. So we said: Come, let us agree on something which may be enforced equally on people of higher and lower rank. So we agreed to blacken the face of a criminal with charcoal, and flog him, and we abandoned stoning. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: O Allah, I am the first to give life to Thy command which they have killed. So he commanded regarding him (the Jew) and he was stoned to death. Allah Most High then sent down: "O Apostle, let not those who race one another into unbelief, make thee grieve..." up to "They say: If you are given this, take it, but if not, beware!...." up to "And if any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) unbelievers," about Jews, up to "And if any do fail to judge by (the right of) what Allah hath revealed, they are no better than) wrong-doers" about Jews: and revealed the verses up to "And if any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel." About this he said: This whole verse was revealed about the infidels. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4448)

Angels at the time of death of a believer vs. a disbeliever
We went out with the Prophet ﷺ for the funeral of a man from the Ansar. When we arrived at the grave and it had not yet been dug, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat down, and we sat around him as if birds were on our heads (in silence and stillness). In his hand, he had a stick with which he was striking the ground. Then he raised his head and said twice or thrice, "Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave."
Then he said, "When the believing servant is about to depart from this world and head towards the Hereafter, angels from the heavens descend upon him, their faces as bright as the sun, bringing shrouds from Paradise and fragrance from Paradise. They sit at a distance that the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death, ﷺ , comes and sits by his head and says, 'O good soul, come out to forgiveness and pleasure from Allah.’ It comes out as gently as a drop flows from a water-skin, and the Angel of Death takes it. When he takes it, they (the angels) do not leave it in his hand even for the twinkling of an eye; they take it and place it in that shroud and that fragrance. From it emanates a fragrance like the sweetest scent of musk ever found on the face of the earth.
Then they ascend with it. They do not pass by a group of angels but they say, 'What is this good soul?’ They reply, 'It is so-and-so, the son of so-and-so,' using the best names by which people called him in this world, until they reach the first heaven. They ask for it to be opened, and it is opened for them. The closest angels from each heaven accompany him to the next heaven until they reach the seventh heaven. Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says, 'Record the book of My servant in Illiyyin (the highest heaven) and return him to the earth, for I have created them from it and return them into it, and from it, I will bring them forth once again.'
His soul is then returned to his body, and two angels come to him, make him sit up and ask him, 'Who is your Lord?' He replies, 'My Lord is Allah.’ They then ask, 'What is your religion?' He replies, 'My religion is Islam.’ They further ask, 'Who is this man who was sent among you?' He says, 'He is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.’ They will ask him, 'What is your knowledge?' He replies, 'I read the Book of Allah, believed in it, and accepted it as true.’ Then a voice calls from the heaven, saying, 'My servant has spoken the truth. Furnish him from Paradise and clothe him from Paradise, and open a door for him to Paradise.' Then he is provided with some of its fragrance and pleasant smell, and his grave is made wide, as far as the eye can see.
Then a man with a handsome face, beautiful clothing, and a good scent comes to him and says, 'Rejoice with what pleases you, for this is your day which you were promised.’ He asks, 'Who are you? Your face is one that brings good.’ He replies, 'I am your righteous deeds.’ Then he says, 'O Lord, establish the Hour so that I may return to my family and my wealth.'
When the disbelieving servant is about to depart from this world and head towards the Hereafter, angels descend upon him from the heavens. Their faces are dark, and they bring sackcloth. They sit at a distance that the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits by his head and says, 'O foul soul, come out to the displeasure and wrath of Allah.’ It recoils within his body, and he drags it out like a skewer being pulled from wet wool. When he takes it, they do not let it stay in his hand even for the twinkling of an eye; they take it and place it in that sackcloth. From it emanates a stench like the foulest stench of a dead body ever found on the face of the earth.
Then they ascend with it. They do not pass by a group of angels but they say, 'What is this foul soul?' They reply, 'It is so-and-so, the son of so-and-so,' using the worst names by which people called him in this world, until they reach the first heaven. They ask for it to be opened, but it is not opened for them." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: 'The gates of heaven will not be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel can pass through the eye of a needle.' (7:40) Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, says, 'Record his book in Sijjin (in the lowest earth) and return him to the earth, for I have created them from it and return them into it, and from it, I will bring them forth once again.' His soul is then cast down.” Then the Messenger of Allah recited: 'And whoever ascribes partners to Allah, it is as though he had fallen from the sky and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had blown him to a far-off place.' (22:31)
His soul is then returned to his body, and two angels come and make him sit up and ask him, 'Who is your Lord?' He replies, 'Alas, alas, I do not know.’ They ask, 'What is your religion?' He replies, 'Alas, alas, I do not know.’ They ask, 'Who is this man who was sent among you?' He replies, 'Alas, alas, I do not know.' Then a voice calls from the heaven, saying, 'He has lied, so furnish him from Hellfire and open a door for him to Hell.' Then some of its heat and hot wind comes to him, and his grave is made narrow, so much so that his ribs are crushed together.
Then a man with an ugly face, ugly clothing, and a foul smell comes to him and says, 'Rejoice with what displeases you, for this is your day which you were promised.’ He asks, 'Who are you? [Machine] On the authority of Abu 'A'idh Saif Al-Sa'idi, he praised Yazid ibn Al-Bara' ibn 'Aazib and said good words about him. He was an emir in Oman, and he was the best of the leaders. He said, "My father said, gather together so that I can show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution and how he used to pray. I do not know the significance of my companionship with you." He then gathered his children and family and called for water for ablution. He gargled, rinsed his mouth, spat, washed his face three times, washed his right hand three times, washed his left hand three times, wiped his head and ears both externally and internally, washed his right foot three times, and washed his left foot three times. He said, "This is how I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution." Then he entered his house and prayed a prayer that we did not know what it was. Then he came out and commanded for the prayer to be established, and the noon prayer was performed with us. I think I heard verses from him recite it from Surah Yaseen (Chapter 36). Then he prayed the afternoon prayer, then he prayed the Maghrib prayer with us, and then he prayed the Isha prayer with us. He said, "I wish that I can show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution and how he used to pray."

He was asked about performing ablution after eating meat. He replied: Do not perform ablution after eating it. He was asked about saying prayer in places where the camels lie down.
“We were talking about how, on the Day of Badr, the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ numbered three hundred ten and something, the same number as the Companions of (Talut) who crossed the river with him, and no one crossed the river with him but a believer.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2828)
"When the following was revealed: 'Not equal are those of the believers who sit (4:95)' 'Amr bin Umm Maktum came to the Prophet ﷺ." He said: "He was blind, so he said: 'O Messenger of Allah! What do you order me with? Indeed my vision is disabled.' So Allah [Most High] revealed this Ayah: 'Except those who are disabled.' So the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Bring me a shoulder bone and inkwell' - or 'Bring me a tablet and an inkwell.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3031)
I met my uncle who was carrying a standard. I asked him: Where are you going? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sent me to a man who has married his father's wife. He has ordered me to cut off his head and take his property. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4457)
"I have not seen anyone with hair past his shoulders in a red Hullah more handsome than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He had hair that would flow on his shoulders, (and he had) broad shoulders (and he was) not too short and not too long." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1724)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ undertook fifty campaigns.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , fought in fifteen battles. Waki' narrated to us, from Fitr, from Saad ibn Ubaydah, from Al-Bara' ibn Azib, that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to a man: "When you go to your bed, purified, say: O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, set my face towards You, entrusted my affairs to You, out of fear and desire for You. There is no place of safety and escape from You except with You. I believe in the Book You have revealed and in the Prophet You have sent. If you take my soul during my sleep, forgive it, and if you keep it alive after waking up, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants. When the man woke up, he followed the Prophet's instructions and he said: I have achieved a lot of goodness." Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) said: My father heard this narration from Saad ibn Ubaydah, who heard it from Al-Bara' ibn Azib.
the Prophet ﷺ stoned a Jewish man and a Jewish woman. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2557)
[Machine] We arrived at Al-Hudaybiyah, which is a well that had dried up, and we were fourteen hundred. He (the Prophet Muhammad PBUH) took out a bucket from it and he rinsed his mouth and then he poured it back into the well, and he made a supplication. He said, "Bring out water and fill our containers." Waki' said, "We were fourteen hundred."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Hudaybiyah, and Hudaybiyah is a well. We emptied it and left nothing in it. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ and he came and sat on its edge. He called for a vessel, rinsed his mouth, then spat into it. After that, he left it not too far away. We and our mounts drank from it as much as we desired.
[Machine] I heard Al-Bara' saying: "A man in mask made of iron came to the Prophet ﷺ from Ansar and asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I embrace Islam or fight?' He replied: 'Rather, embrace Islam and then fight.' So, he embraced Islam and then fought, and he was killed. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He did little work, but he will be greatly rewarded.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting in the Isha prayer the Surahs of At-Tin (The Fig) and Az-Zaitoun (The Olive). He said, "I have not heard anyone reciting them better than him."
[Machine] I heard Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib say, when the Prophet ﷺ made a truce with the people of Hudaybiyah, 'Ali wrote a document between them. He wrote "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah", and the polytheists said, "Do not write 'Muhammad, Messenger of Allah,' if you were the Messenger of Allah, we would not fight you". So he said to 'Ali, "Erase it." 'Ali said, "I am not the one who will erase it." So the Prophet ﷺ erased it with his own hand. He agreed with them that they would enter for three days and that only those with weapons would enter. So I asked, "What does 'weapons' mean?" He said, "The sheaths (carrying case) with what is in it."
