[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying on the day of Hunayn, "I am the Prophet, there is no falsehood in me. I am the son of Abdul Muttalib."
"The Salat of Messenger of Allah (was such that) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, and when he prostrated, and when he raised his head from prostration it (all) was nearly the same." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 279)
[Machine] "That the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , used to diligently pray the Fajr and Maghrib prayers. Abu Abdur-Rahman said it is not narrated from the Prophet, ﷺ , that he specifically emphasized the Maghrib prayer except in this narration. And from Ali, his statement is."
When Messenger of Allah ﷺ went forth from Mecca to Medina, Suraqa b. Malik b. Ju'shum pursued him. Messenger of Allah ﷺ invoked curse upon him, and his horse sank (in the desert). He (Suraqa) said: (Messenger of Allah), invoke blessings for me and I will do no harm to you. He (the Holy Prophet) then supplicated Allah. (At that time) he (the Holy Prophet) felt thirsty, and they happened to pass by a shepherd. Abu Bakr Siddiq said: I took hold of a bowl and milked some milk into it for Messenger of Allah ﷺ and gave it to him. He drank it and I was pleased. (Using translation from Muslim 2009b)
[Machine] The translation of the passage into English is as follows:
"When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , wanted to sleep, he would lie on his right side and say, 'O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day when You gather Your servants.' Abu Ishaq said, and another person said, 'On the day when You resurrect Your servants.'"
Al-Bara' reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ was of medium height, having broad shoulders, with his hair hanging down on the lobes of his ears. He put on a red mantle over him, and never have I seen anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle ﷺ. (Using translation from Muslim 2337a)
I heard al-Bara' as saying that a man recited al-Kahf when an animal was there in the house and it began to take fright. And as he looked around, he found a cloud overshadowing it. He mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Upon this he said: O so and so, recite on (the surah) as- Sakina descends at the (recitation of the Qur'an) or on account (of the recitation) of the Qur'an. (Using translation from Muslim 795b)
[Machine] On the day of Hunayn, it was reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Al-Bara' said, "But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not flee. There were people throwing rocks at us, and when we attacked them, they were exposed, so we overpowered them and seized their goods as spoils. They faced us with arrows. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his white riding animal, while Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith was holding its reins and saying, 'I am the Prophet, there is no falsehood. I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib.'"
That whenever the Prophet ﷺ would return from a trip, he would say: “(We are) Returning, repenting, worshipping, and to our Lord directing the praise (Ā’ibūna tā’būna ʿābidūna lirabbinā ḥāmidūn).” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3440)
[Machine] I said to Al-Bara', the man carrying the burden of the polytheists, "Is he among those who threw their hands to ruin?" He replied, "No, because Allah sent His Messenger ﷺ and He said, 'Fight in the cause of Allah, you are only responsible for yourself.' (Quran 4:84) That is only about the expenses."
[Machine] It was said to al-Baraa': Was the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like iron, resembling a sword? He replied, "No, rather it was like the moon."
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and we stopped at Ghadeer Khumm. Then the call for prayer was made, announcing the congregational prayer. A place under two trees was cleared for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pray Dhuhr. He took the hand of Ali and said, "Do you not know that I have more authority over the believers than they have over themselves?" They replied, "Yes, indeed." He said, "Do you not know that I have more authority over every believer than they have over themselves?" They responded, "Yes, indeed." Then, he held Ali's hand and said, "Whoever has me as their master, Ali is also their master. O Allah, be a friend to whoever befriends him and an enemy to whoever fights against him." Umar met him afterward and said, "Congratulations, O son of Abu Talib! You have become the master of every believer, male and female, both in the morning and the evening."
This tradition has also been narrated on the authority of ‘A’ishah through a different chain. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 99)
The first (act) with which we started our day (the day of 'Id-ul Adha) was that we offered prayer. We then returned and sacrificed the animals and he who did that in fact adhered to our Sunnah (practice). And he who slaughtered the (animal on that day before the 'Id prayer), for him (the slaughtering of animal was directed to the acquiring of) meat for his family, and there is nothing of the sort of sacrifice in it. It was Abu Burda b. Niyar who had slaughtered (the animal before the 'Id prayer). He said: I have a small lamb, of less than one year, but better than that of more than a year. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ qaid: Sacrifice it, but it will not suffice (as a sacrifice) for anyone after you. (Using translation from Muslim 1961e)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about the grave: When he is asked, he will recognize his Lord, and he will say something that I do not remember. That is what Allah says: "Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this worldly life and in the Hereafter." [Ibrahim 27]
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by some people from the Ansar (Muslims of Medina) and said, 'If you are capable, spread peace, assist the oppressed, and guide those who are astray.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a gathering of the Ansar and said, "If you refuse to sit, guide the way, respond to greetings, and aid the oppressed."
[Machine] He heard Al-Bara'ah saying about this verse: "The believers who sit at home are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ commanded Zaid to write it down, so he brought a shoulder blade and wrote it. Then, Ibn Umm Maktum complained to him about his difficult situation, so the verse was revealed: "The believers who sit at home are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah except for the disabled." (Quran 4:95)
[Machine] "A man in innocence, and he jokingly with him. You have turned away from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while you were his companions." Al-Baraa said, "I bear witness that on that day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not flee. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day the trench was dug, and he was carrying soil with the people, and he was reciting the verse of Ibn Rawaha. O Allah, if it were not for You, we would not have been guided, nor would we have been charitable, nor would we have prayed. So send down tranquility upon us and make our feet firm if we encounter our enemy. Indeed, the highest enemy has transgressed against us, and if they desire a dispute, we have shown ourselves ready to respond."
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , raising his hands when he started the prayer.
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is a from the duties for the Muslims, that they take a bath (ghusl) on Friday, and that each of them wear some perfume he has with this family. If he does not find any, then water is a perfume for him."
[Machine] "From his father, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice and said, 'Indeed, the first of your rituals is this prayer.' Abu Burdah ibn Niyyar, his maternal uncle, stood up and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, there was a day where we desired to eat meat, so we hurried and slaughtered (an animal).' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Replace it.' He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we have a young goat.' He said, 'Then it is for you, and no one else after you.'"
[Machine] We were sitting in the mosque on the day of Eid Al-Adha when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and greeted the people. He then said, "Indeed, the first ritual of your day is this prayer." He then went forward and prayed two units of prayer, then he greeted and faced the people. He was given a bow or staff, so he leaned on it, praised and thanked Allah, commanded and prohibited the people, and said, "Whoever among you slaughtered (the animal) prematurely, let it be considered a piece of meat that he has given to his family. The sacrifice is only after the prayer." Then my uncle Abu Burdah bin Niyyar stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I rushed to slaughter my sheep so that we can have food to gather around when we return. I have a piece of meat from a goat, which is more than what I have slaughtered. Can you please exempt me from it, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes, and it will not be exempted for anyone after you." He then said, "O Bilal!" He said, "He walked and the Messenger of Allah followed him until he reached the women. He said, "O women, charity is better for you." He said, "I have never seen a day with more cut meat, necklaces, and earrings than that day."
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. When you prostrate yourself, place the palms of your hands on the ground and raise your elbows. (Using translation from Muslim 494)
What is your opinion about the delight of a person whose camel loaded with the provisions of food and drink is lost and that moves about with its nosestring trailing upon the waterless desert in which there is neither food nor drink, and lie wanders about in search of that until he is completely exhausted and then accidentally it happens to pass by the trunk of a tree and its nosestring gets entangled in that and he finds it entangled therein? He (in response to the question of the Holy Prophet) said: Messenger of Allah, he would feel highly delighted. Thereupon Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. By Allah, Allah is more delighted at the repentance of His servant than that person (as he finds his lost) camel. (Using translation from Muslim 2746)
[Machine] We heard it from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , as our companions narrated it to us. It used to occupy our attention from tending to the camels.
The Prophet ﷺ said: Beautify the Qur'an with your voices. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1468)
[Machine] Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is obligatory upon Muslims on the Day of Friday to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and apply fragrance, if available. If fragrance is not available, then water is sufficient."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was the first to arrive in Medina and stayed with his ancestors and extended family from the Ansar. He prayed facing the direction of Bait al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) for sixteen or seventeen months, and he preferred for his qibla (direction of prayer) to be towards the Kaaba. He also prayed the Asr prayer as the first prayer he offered in Medina, and some people prayed with him. A man who had prayed with him later passed by a group of people who were in the state of rukoo' (bowing) in prayer and said, "I bear witness by Allah that I have prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ facing towards Makkah." They turned and faced the Kaaba in prayer. It pleased the Prophet ﷺ to have the qibla changed, and the Jews were amazed when he used to pray facing Bait al-Maqdis, just as the people of the Book were. However, when he turned his face towards the Kaaba they disapproved of it.

[Machine] A man from the Ansar came with a prisoner. Al-Abbas said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is not the prisoner who captured me, but rather a man from the tribe who took me out of his appearance like this and like that." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the man, "Indeed, Allah has aided you with a noble angel."

"The Messenger of Allah commanded us to do seven things, and forbade us form seven things. He commanded us to visit the risk, to reply (say: Yarhamuk Allah, may Allah have mercy on you) to one who sneezes, to fulfill our oaths, to support the oppressed, to spread the greeting of Salam, to accept invitation, and to attend funerals. And he forbade us from using gold rings, silver vessels, Mayathir, the Qasiyyah, Al-Istabraq, silk and Ad-Dibaj." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1939)

[Machine] "When this verse was revealed, 'Those who stay behind from the believers are not equal to those who strive in the cause of Allah' [Surah An-Nisa, 4: 95] and 'And those who strive in the cause of Allah' [Surah An-Nisa, 4: 95], the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Zaid and he brought a shoulder blade and wrote it (the verse) down. Then Ibn Umm Maktum came and complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the verse 'Except for those who are disabled' [Surah An-Nisa, 4: 95] was revealed."

[Machine] A man read Surah Al-Kahf while he had a tied-up animal. The animal became restless, so the man looked up and saw a cloud covering him or a mist. He got scared and went to the Prophet ﷺ . I asked if the Prophet ﷺ mentioned that man. He said yes, and then I said, "Who is that man?" He replied, "That man is so-and-so." I said, "He was reading Surah Al-Kahf, and tranquility descended upon him, or it was found nearby him."

“I heard ‘Ubaid bin Fairuz say: ‘I said to Bara’ bin ‘Azib: “Tell us of the sacrificial animals that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ disliked or forbade.” He said: “Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said like this with his hand. And my hand is shorter than his hand:* ‘There are four that will not be accepted as sacrifices: The one-eyed animal that is obviously blind in one eye; the sick animal that is obviously sick; the lame animal with an obvious limp; and the animal that is so emaciated that it is as if there is no marrow in its bones.’” He said:** “And I dislike that the animal should have some fault in its ears.” He said: “What you dislike, forget about it and do not make it forbidden to anyone.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3144)

[Machine] The first to come to us from the companions of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , was Mus'ab bin Umair and Ibn Umm Maktum. They began teaching the people the Quran. Then, Ammar, Bilal, and Saad came. Then, Umar bin Al-Khattab came in twenty [people], and then the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , came. I have never seen the people of Medina rejoice over anything as they rejoiced over seeing him. Even the children and infants were saying, "This is the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , who has come." He said, "I had not arrived until I recited the Surah Subhan" in a detailed Surah.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was carrying the earth with us on the Day of Ahzab and the whiteness of his belly had been covered with earth. (While engaged in this toil) he was reciting: By God, if Thou hadst not guided us We would have neither been guided aright nor practised charity, Nor offered prayers. Descend on us peace and tranquillity. Behold I these people (the Meccans) refused to follow us. According to another version, he recited: The chieftains (of the tribes) refused to follow us When they contemplated mischief, we rejected it. And with this (verse) he would raise his voice. (Using translation from Muslim 1803a)
