[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed part of my repentance is that I abandon the home of my people and reside with you, and indeed I will give in charity from my wealth to Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A third of the responsibility will be lifted from you."
[Machine] "He used to order the killing of all snakes, so Abu Lubabah asked permission from him to enter from their side into the mosque. He saw them killing a snake, so Abu Lubabah said to them, 'Did you not hear that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the killing of house snakes and asked for the killing of the two harmful ones: the black snake and the snake with two white spots?'"
[Machine] He opened a door and a snake came out of it, so he ordered to kill it. Abu Lubabah said to him, "Do not do that, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has prohibited killing snakes found in houses."
6.137 [Machine] Ad-Dahhak ibn Qays
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, before the Hour there will be tribulations like the dark pieces of the night, tribulations like the pieces of smoke. In it, the heart of a man will die just as his body dies. A person will wake up in the morning as a believer and by evening become a disbeliever, or will wake up in the evening as a believer and become a disbeliever in the morning. People will sell their morals and religion for a worldly possession. Verily, Yazid ibn Mu'awiyah has already died and you are our brothers and companions, so do not precede us until we consult among ourselves."

[Machine] A doctor mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a medicine and mentioned that the frog is used in it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited killing the frog.

6.141 [Machine] Aweimer bin Ashqar

6.142 [Machine] Beloved Grandfather
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he intended to go on a military expedition. I and another man from my people had not embraced Islam, so we said, "We feel ashamed to witness our people doing something that we do not witness with them." He asked, "Have you both embraced Islam?" We replied, "No." He said, "Then we do not seek the assistance of polytheists against polytheists." So we embraced Islam and witnessed the military expedition with him. I killed a man and got injured by a strike. Later, I married his daughter. She would often say, "You did not spare a man and then you wore this shawl." So I would reply, "You did not spare a man and rushed your father to Hell."
6.143 [Machine] The remainder of the conversation of Ka'b bin Malik Al-Ansari.
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ ate food and licked his fingers.
[Machine] A girl was tending to sheep for Ka'b with goods. The wolf attacked one of the sheep from its herd and the shepherd girl caught it and rescued it with a branch. Ka'b bin Malik asked the Prophet ﷺ about it and he ordered him to eat it.
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who was holding two ropes, so the Prophet ﷺ said to the man, 'Put down one of the ropes.' The man replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' Then the Prophet ﷺ said to the man, 'Give him what remains of his right.'"
[Machine] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ licking his three fingers after eating."
[Machine] A black female sheep gave birth to a lamb for them in Marwah, so the Prophet ﷺ asked about it and ordered him to eat it.
[Machine] "Abdulrahman doubted that it was Sufyan reporting from his father. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The example of a believer is like a plant that is shaken by the wind and then straightens up again. The example of a disbeliever is like a huge tree that stands firmly, unaffected by anything, until it is uprooted in one go.' Abdulrahman's doubt was correct."
[Machine] "When Ka'b ibn Malik repented to Allah, he went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Verily, Allah has only saved me through truthfulness, and part of my repentance to Allah is that I will never lie again. And I will give a portion of my wealth as charity to Allah and His Messenger.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told him, 'Keep some of your wealth, as it is better for you.' He replied, 'But I will keep my bow from Khaybar.'"
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left, I said, "I will prepare myself tomorrow and catch up with him." So, I took my provisions and stayed the night without finishing them. I said, "I will take my provisions tomorrow and the people will be close behind." Then, I will catch up with them. So, I stayed the night without finishing them. When the third day came, I took my provisions and stayed the night without finishing them. I said, "Oh, how people have preceded me three times!" So, I stayed (behind). When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived, the people started apologizing to him. I approached until I stood in front of him and said, "I was in campaigns easier in terms of physical hardship and expenses for me than these campaigns. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned away from me and ordered the people not to speak to me. Our women were ordered to turn away from us." He said, "So, I built a wall one day, then behold! I saw Jabir ibn Abdullah. I said, 'O Jabir, I adjure you by Allah! Did you see me deceiving Allah and His Messenger on any day?' He remained silent and did not speak to me. He continued not to speak to me. Then, on another day, I heard a man on the slope saying, 'Ka'b! Ka'b!' until he approached me. He said, 'Give good news to Ka'b!'"
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , would return from a journey, he would start by going to the mosque and perform two units of prayer. Then, he would give the greeting of peace and sit in his place of prayer, and people would come and greet him.
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ arrived from the Battle of Tabuk in the morning and prayed two units of prayer in the mosque, and whenever he returned from a journey, he would do so.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ arrived, meaning from Tabuk, and he performed two units of prayer in the mosque. Whenever he would return from a journey, he would do that.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to not embark on a journey except during the daytime. When he would arrive, he would start by going to the mosque and pray two units of prayer. Then he would sit in the mosque and Ibn Bakr narrated in his hadith from his father Abdullah ibn Ka'b ibn Malik, from his uncle...
[Machine] Allah will forgive you, O mother of good tidings. Have you not heard what the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "The soul of a Muslim is like a bird attached to the tree of Paradise until Allah returns it to its body on the Day of Resurrection." She said: "You have spoken the truth, so I seek forgiveness from Allah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "The soul of the believer, when they die, is like a bird that hangs onto the tree of paradise until Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, returns it to their body on the day they are resurrected by Allah."
“The believer’s soul is a bird that eats from the trees of Paradise, until it will be returned to his body on the Day when he is resurrected.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4271)
[Machine] That the Prophet (PBUH) set out on Thursday in the Battle of Tabuk.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said that the soul of a Muslim is like a bird that hangs on the branches of Paradise until Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, returns it to its body on the day of resurrection.
It was rarely that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out on a journey on any day but on a Thursday. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2605)
Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to carry out a Ghazwa, he would use an equivocation to conceal his real destination till it was the Ghazwa of Tabuk which Messenger of Allah ﷺ carried out in very hot weather. As he was going to face a very long journey through a wasteland and was to meet and attack a large number of enemies. So, he made the situation clear to the Muslims so that they might prepare themselves accordingly and get ready to conquer their enemy. The Prophet ﷺ informed them of the destination he was heading for. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2948)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "People will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment, and I will be with my Ummah (followers) on a hill. My Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, will clothe me in a green robe, and then it will be announced for me. I will say what Allah wishes me to say, and that will be the praiseworthy position."
"Two wolves free among sheep are no more destructive to them than a man's desire for wealth and honor is to his religion." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2376)
[Machine] Ka'b ibn Malik, when Allah revealed in poetry that which He revealed, came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Indeed, Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted, has revealed in poetry what you know. And what do you think about it?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the believer fights with his sword and his tongue."

[Machine] He informed him that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Among poetry is wisdom," and Bashir ibn Abdullah ibn Ka'b narrated that Ka'b ibn Malik used to narrate that the Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it is as if you sprinkle them with noble qualities with what you say to them of poetry."

[Machine] He said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when Allah blessed and exalted him: "O Messenger of Allah, I want to give a charity from my wealth to Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "Hold on to some of your wealth, for it is better for you."
[Machine] Narrated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the expedition of Tabuk, Ka'b ibn Malik said, "I never stayed behind from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in any expedition that he undertook except for the expedition of Tabuk. However, I had stayed behind in the Battle of Badr, and no one was reprimanded for staying behind except for those who stayed behind in that battle. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only set out on this expedition in order to encounter the Quraysh until Allah brought them together with their enemy without any set time. I certainly witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the night of Aqabah when we agreed upon embracing Islam. I do not wish to have a prominent role in any battle other than Badr, even though Badr is more famous among people. It is also known from my knowledge when I stayed behind from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the expedition of Tabuk, that I was never weaker or more vulnerable than I was when I stayed behind in those battles. By Allah, I never gathered two riding camels before that time until I collected them in that battle. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rarely set out on an expedition without undertaking another expedition alongside it. So, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ embarked on this expedition in scorching heat and towards a distant and victorious journey, and he faced a large number of enemies. He informed the Muslims to prepare themselves and be ready for the battle against their enemy."

[Machine] In the Battle of Tabuk, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ka'b ibn Malik, I have not missed any expedition that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on, except for the Battle of Tabuk. However, I missed the Battle of Badr, but no one was reproached for missing it because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only went out seeking the caravan of Quraysh in which Abu Sufyan ibn Harb and some members of Quraysh were present." Then he said, "So I came and sat in front of him, and he asked, 'What prevented you? Did you not buy a camel?' I said, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah, indeed, if I had sat with anyone else from the people of this world, I would have thought that I would escape his anger with an excuse.' And I was given the ability to present an argument, so I mentioned the event and said, 'Indeed, I hope for the forgiveness of Allah.' And he said, 'So I said to my wife, 'Be true to your family until Allah decrees in this matter.' And I heard the sound of a loud caller, the loudest voice on the highest peak of Sal mountain, calling, 'O Ka'b ibn Malik, rejoice!' So I prostrated and knew that relief had come. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ announced to the people to repent upon us when he performed the Fajr prayer. And he mentioned the meaning of the narration of the son of my brother ibn Shihab, and said, 'So I say to myself, did he move his lips to respond to the greeting of peace?'"

ʿAbdullah bin Abu Hadrad Al-Aslami owed Kaʿb bin Malik some money. One day the latter met the former and demanded his right, and their voices grew very loud. The Prophet ﷺ passed by them and said, "O Kaʿb," beckoning with his hand as if intending to say, "Deduct half the debts." So, Kaʿb took half what the other owed him and remitted the other half. [Machine] People used to fast during Ramadan, and when a man woke up after sleeping, it was forbidden for him to have food, drink, or have relations with women, until he broke his fast the next morning. Omar ibn Al-Khattab returned from the Prophet ﷺ one night, having spent the night with him, and found his wife sleeping. He wanted to approach her but she said, "I am sleeping." He said, "You did not sleep," and then had relations with her. Ka'b ibn Malik did the same thing. The next day, Omar went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of what happened. Allah then revealed the verse, "Allah knew that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you" (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:187).

[Machine] I heard Suwaid bin Nu'man, a man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who was among the companions of the tree, saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey and they did not have any food with them. So, they brought some herbs and ate from them and drank from them. Then, they brought water and gargled. After that, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and prayed.
