"I saw Ibn ʿUmar praying while taking his camel as a Sutra in front of him and he said, "I saw the Prophet doing the same."

وَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»

[AI] I heard Abu Huraira saying, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ praying in his sandals."

سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed at the grave of a woman who had been buried.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ امْرَأَةٍ قَدْ دُفِنَتْ

وَقَالَ رَخَّصَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in the house of Umm Haram on a mat.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ حَرامٍ عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with him, Umm Sulaim, and Umm Haram, behind us on a mat."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِ وَأُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ وَأُمُّ حَرَامٍ خَلْفَنَا عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted them permission.

رَخَّصَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي كَذَلِكَ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in a garment made of Najrani fabric and two pieces of cloth were used as wrap."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَوْبٍ نَجْرَانِيٍّ وَرَيْطَتَيْنِ»

[AI] "Allow me to wear my sandals so that he may wear them and pray in them, saying, 'I have seen the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , praying in my sandals.'"

نَاوِلْنِي نَعْلِي فَيَنْتَعِلُ وَيُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ وَيَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution and wipe over his sandals."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ»
