Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three Yemenite white Suhuliya (pieces of cloth) of cotton, and in them there was neither a shirt nor a turban."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ يَمَانِيَةٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ مِنْ كُرْسُفٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِنَّ قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three pieces of cloth and neither a shirt nor a turban were used.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three pieces of cloth which were made of white Suhul and neither a shirt nor a turban were used.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ

"Wear white clothes for they are purer and better, and shroud your dead in them."'

كُفِّنَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ بِيضٍ

"The Prophet was shrouded in three white Suhuli garments."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three thin white Suhuli cloths.”

كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي ثَلاَثِ رِيَاطٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three garments: The shirt in which he died, and a Najrani Hullah.

كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ قَمِيصُهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ وَحُلَّةٌ نَجْرَانِيَّةٌ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was wrapped in three garments: his shirt in which he died, and a Najrani cloak, the cloak being two garments.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ فِي قَمِيصِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ وَحُلَّةٍ نَجْرَانِيَّةٍ الْحُلَّةُ ثَوْبَانِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed with his shoes on and wiped them three times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ وَاسْتَوْكَفَ ثَلَاثًا

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in his sandals.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ

[AI] He said, "I asked Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, about how many garments the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was wrapped in when he died?" She said, "He was wrapped in three white, coarse garments."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي كَمْ كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَتْ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father from A'isha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three pure white cotton garments, none of which was a long shirt or a turban.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلاَ عِمَامَةٌ

that the Prophet ﷺ that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in three pure white cotton garments.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاَثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was shrouded in a garment made of Najrani fabric and two pieces of cloth were used as wrap."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَوْبٍ نَجْرَانِيٍّ وَرَيْطَتَيْنِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , prayed in a single garment."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was wrapped in three clothes, in his shirt that he died in, and a purple gown.

كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ فِي قَمِيصِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ وَحُلَّةٍ أَنْبِجَانِيَّةٍ

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ بِيضٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا قَمِيصٌ وَلَا عِمَامَةٌ

[AI] He said, "I asked Aisha, 'In how many clothes was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shrouded?' She said, 'In three white garments.'"

أَنَّهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ فِي كَمْ كُفِّنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَتْ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَّةٍ

"عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ كُفِّنَ فِى ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ بِيضٍ يَمَانِيَّةٍ".
