The Prophet ﷺ said: '"Whoever narrates a Hadith from me thinking it to be false, then he is one of the two liars." (Either the one who invents a lie or the one who repeats it; both are liars). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 38)
We were praying Zuhr with the Messenger of Allah at the time of intense heat (i.e., midday when the sun has just passed its zenith) and he said to us, "Wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 680)
[Machine] "He (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) said, ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ holding the reins of Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl’s mount and he said, "O Sufyan ibn Abi Sahl, do not fasten them (tighten the reins), for indeed Allah does not love those who fasten them tightly."’"

[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, and he said to me, "O Mugheerah, take the water container." So I took it. He then departed and walked ahead of me until he disappeared from my sight. He fulfilled his need and then came back, wearing a narrow-sleeved Syrian cloak. He tried to take out his hands from it, but they got stuck. He then took out his hands from the bottom of the cloak, and I poured water over them. He performed ablution for prayer, wiped over his socks, and then prayed.
[Machine] "That you write to me about something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and there is no one between you and him. He dictated to me, and I wrote that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, Allah has forbidden three things and has prohibited three things. As for the three things that Allah has prohibited, they are: false witness, false statements, and wasting wealth.'"
[Machine] Muawiyah wrote to Al-Mughira bin Shu'bah, saying, "Write to me a narration that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." So Al-Mughira wrote back to him, saying, "I heard him say, when he finished the prayer and was about to leave, 'There is no god but Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise. He is capable of everything.' He used to forbid idle talk, excessive questioning, wasting money, withholding provision, disobedience to mothers, and burying baby girls alive."
[Machine] "We were with the Prophet ﷺ when he gestured towards my back or shoulder with something he had. He said, 'Follow me.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fulfilled his need. Then he came and asked, 'Do you have water?' I said, 'Yes, and I also have a container of water.' So he washed his face, and he had a tight striped cloak on him. He put his hand inside the cloak and lifted it onto his shoulder, then he took his hands out from under the cloak and washed his arms. He wiped over his turban, mentioning his ears with something, and he wiped over his footwear. Then we caught up with the people during the Fajr prayer, and 'Abdul Rahman was leading them in prayer and they had already prayed one unit of prayer. I went to him to give the adhan (call to prayer) and he stopped me, so we prayed one unit of prayer with him and completed what we had missed."
I also moved along with him till he came to the people and (he found) that they had been saying their prayer under the Imamah of 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ could get one rak ah out of two and said (this) last rak'ah along with the people. When Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf pronounced the salutation, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up to complete the prayer. This made the Muslims terrified and most of them began to recite the glory of the Lord. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he turned towards them and then said: You did well, or said with a sense of joy: You did the right thing that you said prayer at the appointed hour. (Using translation from Muslim 274l)
I made up my mind to hold Abd al-Rahman b. 'Auf back, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Leave him." (Using translation from Muslim 274m)
One night I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. He asked (me), "Have you got water with you?" I replied, "Yes" So he got down from his she-camel and went away till he disappeared in the darkness of the night. Then he came back and I poured water for him from the pot (for the ablution). He washed his face and hands while he was wearing a woollen cloak (the sleeves of which were narrow), so he could not take his arms out of it. So he took them out from underneath the cloak. Then he washed his forearms and passed his wet hands over his head. Then I tried to take off his Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather), but he said, "Leave them, for I have performed ablution before putting them on." And so he passed his wet hands over them. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5799)
The Messenger of Allah wiped over the top and the bottom of the leather socks. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 550)
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood (in prayer) until his feet became swollen. It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins.’ He said: ‘Should I not be a thankful slave?’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1419)
[Machine] "We heard that a man-Warraq wrote to him, meaning Al-Mughirah, and Mu'awiyah wrote to him, saying, 'Write to me about something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.' [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Najran. They said, "Do you not read what you read, O sister of Harun and Musa, before Eisa, in this way and that way?" So I returned and mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "Did you not inform them that they were referred to as the prophets and the righteous before them?"
[Machine] What is the matter with this cry in Islam? A man from the Ansar died and people wailed over him. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, lying about me is not like lying about anyone else. So whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, the one whom people wail over will be punished because of the wailing."

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A group of people from my Umma will continue to be triumphant over the people until the Command of Allah overtakes them while they are still triumphant. (Using translation from Muslim 1921a)
Nobody asked the Prophet ﷺ as many questions as I asked regarding Ad-Dajjal. The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "What worries you about him?" I said, "Because the people say that he will have a mountain of bread and a river of water with him (i.e. he will have abundance of food and water)" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nay, he is too mean to be allowed such a thing by Allah"' (but it is only to test mankind whether they believe in Allah or in Ad-Dajjal.) (Using translation from Bukhārī 7122)
[Machine] I ate garlic, then I went to the Prophet's mosque and found that he had already preceded me by one unit of prayer. When he finished praying, I stood up to complete my prayer and noticed the smell of garlic. He said, "Whoever has eaten this vegetable should not approach our mosque until the smell goes away." When I finished my prayer, I approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have an excuse, please extend your hand to me." He extended his hand to me and I found it to be soft, so I placed my hand in his sleeve up to my chest. He found it wrapped up and said, "You have an excuse."

One night I became the guest of the Prophet ﷺ. He ordered that a piece of mutton be roasted, and it was roasted. He then took a knife and began to cut the meat with it for me. In the meantime Bilal came and called him for prayer. He threw the knife and said: What happened! may his hands be smeared with earth! He then stood for offering prayer. Al-Anbari added: My moustaches became lengthy. He trimmed them by placing a took-stick; or he said: I shall trim your moustaches by placing the tooth-stick there. Al-Anbari said: My moustaches became lengthy. He trimmed them by placing a tooth-stick ; or he said: I shall trim your moustaches by placing the tooth-stick there. [Machine] "What brought you here? So I said this and that, and Hassan said that he heard it from Aqqaar who heard it from his father who heard it from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, 'Whoever seeks treatment through cupping and cauterization has not truly placed his trust in Allah.'"
[Machine] The sun darkened at the time of the death of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ when Ibrahim died. The people said, "The sun has darkened due to the death of Ibrahim." The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, the sun and the moon are signs from Allah. They do not eclipse for the death or life of anyone. So when you see that, pray and supplicate to Allah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate food, then the prayer was established. He stood up and had already performed ablution before that. So, I came to him with water for him to perform ablution from it. He scolded me and said, "You are behind (meaning, you are late)." Then he performed the prayer. I complained about this to Umar, and he said, "O Prophet of Allah, Al-Mughirah had hard time because of your scolding and he feared that there might be something wrong with you." The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is nothing wrong with me except good. But he came to me with water for me to perform ablution. Indeed, I had just eaten food. If I had done that, people would have followed suit after me."
[Machine] "I was with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey and he fulfilled his needs. Then he performed ablution and wiped over his socks. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, did you forget?' He replied, 'No, rather you forgot that my Lord has commanded me with this.'"
"Whoever seeks treatment by cauterization, or with Ruqyah, then he has absolved himself of At-Tawakkul (reliance upon Allah)." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2055)
[Machine] We saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was performing the Dhuhr or Asr prayer. He stood up and we said, "Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah)." He replied, "Subhanallah" and gestured with his hand, meaning get up. So we stood up. After he finished his prayer, he performed two prostrations and then said, "When one of you mentions Allah, let him sit before concluding the prayer, and when he concludes the prayer, let him stay seated."
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘If anyone of you stands after two Rak’ah, if he has not yet stood up fully, let him sit down again, but if he has stood up fully, then let him not sit down, and let him perform two prostrations for forgetfulness (Sahw).’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1208)
[Machine] "That he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and informed us about what will happen to his nation until the Day of Judgment, and he reminded those who forgot and brought back the memories of those who had forgotten."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ invited me to bring him water, so I went to a hidden place and found an Arab woman there. I said, "Verily, this is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he wants water to perform ablution. Do you have any water?" She replied, "By my mother and father, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is dearer to me than my own soul, and more honorable. However, this garment belongs to a dead person and I dislike using it to touch the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So I returned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of what she said. He said, "Go back to her. If she had washed it, then it is purified." I returned to her and mentioned this to her, and she said, "By Allah, indeed I have washed it." So I brought him water from it. On that day, he was wearing a shawls from Shamu, socks, and a veil. He then put his hand beneath the veil, from under the shawls, and wiped over the veil and the socks.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to fulfill one of his needs, then he came back and I poured water on him and he washed his face. Then he went to wash his arms, but the sleeves of his garment were narrow, so he took them out from under the garment and washed them. Then he wiped over his feet.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray or preferred to pray on a carpet with a dye.
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over the tops of his socks. Suraij and Al-Hashimi also narrated this to us.
[Machine] I heard Al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba saying: "The Prophet ﷺ went on a journey and stopped at a place. The Prophet ﷺ sought privacy, so I followed him with a container of water. He performed ablution and wiped over his socks."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Beware of lying and being lied to, and of withholding and demanding, and of neglecting the rights of daughters and disrespecting mothers, and of wasting wealth.
[Machine] "So I saw him, and he glorified [Allah] and then departed. Then he performed two prostrations after saying the Salam. And he said, 'This is what we used to do with the Prophet ﷺ. He had doubts in glorifying [Allah].' "
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then Al-Mugheerah invited me. He wrote to him, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say that when he finishes his prayer, he says, 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is capable of everything. O Allah, there is no one who can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold, and the true benefit is not from the one who appears to be a benefactor. And I heard him forbid backbiting, spreading gossip, excessive questioning, wasting money, maltreatment of daughters, and disobedience to parents, and from injustice and attacking others without a justifiable reason.
[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, when he used to say the salaam, he would say, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. O Allah, there is no one who can withhold what You have given, and none can give what You have withheld. Similar to the hadeeth of Al-Mughirah, except that he did not mention the birth of daughters.'"
