[Machine] "That you write to me about something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and there is no one between you and him. He dictated to me, and I wrote that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, Allah has forbidden three things and has prohibited three things. As for the three things that Allah has prohibited, they are: false witness, false statements, and wasting wealth.'"  

أحمد:١٨١٩١حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ سَوْقَةَ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ مَوْلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَكَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ

أَنْ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ أَحَدٌ قَالَ فَأَمْلَى عَلَيَّ وَكَتَبْتُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ حَرَّمَ ثَلَاثًا وَنَهَى عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ فَأَمَّا الثَّلَاثُ اللَّاتِي نَهَى الله عَنْهُنَّ فَقِيلَ وَقَالَ وَإِلْحَافُ السُّؤَالِ وَإِضَاعَةُ الْمَالِ

The clerk of Al-Mughira bin Shuʿba narrated, "Muawiya wrote to Al-Mughira bin Shuʿba: Write to me something which you have heard from the Prophet ﷺ ." So Al-Mughira wrote: I heard the Prophet saying, "Allah has hated for you three things: -1. Vain talks, (useless talk) that you talk too much or about others. -2. Wasting of wealth (by extravagance) -3. And asking too many questions (in disputed religious matters) or asking others for something (except in great need).
